Got to my 1st 20 million cut-off last week and decided to finally buy some cars so bought an R10 and an F10 - still deciding how to spend the other 5+ million.
I'd heard that the 908 FAP mirrors its real-life advantage over the Audi but I've followed Team Joest since the R8 broke cover and couldn't go for the new enemy!
So whilst wishing it was an R15 I took to Suzuka to work on the set-up... hmmm. I can consistently lap at 1:58.5 but it feels... slow. The problem is with torque in 3rd, I'm so late on the throttle it's ridiculous - any earlier and she gets a massive tank-slapper.
Basically I'm wondering how successful people are with the R10 using the DS3? I'm using the D-pad which doesn't help but if others have gelled with it I'll go back to the set-up drawing board.
(This is more about feel than outright tuning but if it helps I'll post my settings later, cheers).
