WTF did you do to my car PD?!
I didn't complain when you didn't add new aerodynamics but taking an existing ones is just stupid and uncalled for I was in the minority defending GT6 always but this is just making me furious i mean why in hell would you even do that? it doesn't make any sense, man PD is so damn unfocused it makes feel sorry for them and what have they become ugh...

Unfocused? As in they should focus on making aero kits for the R8 instead of improving physics, graphics, car selection, track selection, races...

Yeah I noticed that a long time ago. No rear wing for the R8, even though they had them in GT5.

That one doesn't have aeros too
Uhmm... YES it does have aero. You can't add visible wings, but they have STOCK front and back aero downforce that you can adjust... Like the race cars.
I'm not aware if the regular 5.2 has adjustable downforce settings or not but the chrome line definitely does.
No, the regular doesnt have adjustable settings. (still has downforce though)

Must be a NFS fan
 I wonder how disappointed he & everyone else was when Ghost Games promised that NFS Rivals would have full customization... when all you can do is pretty much custom colors and pre-selected decals/"wraps".

Oh, it's pretty quiet over there. People just plaaaaaaaying the game.

Jesus what happen to this community forum!

ok thanks still disapponted that they took out the wing

Small detail perhaps, but they wouldn't have to focus on making anything in this case - the parts were there in GT5 and PD made the effort to remove them for GT6. I can only wonder why. I wouldn't have posted this but I love the R8 and was really disappointed to find the parts were taken out - I initially thought it was a bug/mistake but then I remembered PD works in mysterious ways... some making no sense whatsoever. :banghead:

So he should only reply if he agrees with you? You are another person complaining by the way. Silly complaint in my opinion.
No i didn't have a problem with everyone else disagreeing with me but calling a grown up man a kid is rude, there is nothing silly with a complain what is silly to you might be important for others we just need to to respect each other point of view.

Exactly! am not asking for livery editor or new aero kits just was shocked that they made an effort to remove what originally was there and functioning.

Yeah, I was a little dismayed to see the FIA WTCC/M3 GTS style wing is no longer available for the '07 M3.

Perhaps with the new aero physics they had to start again with the add-ons... ?

Try the R8 Chrome Line. There are no changeable parts, but has great aero.

Who knows but those aero parts in GT6 are horrible anyway, the downforce the rear generates is woefully low and pointless assuming those numbers are lb/sq in; 20 lbs of downforce isn't doing a damn thing for that car or any car at all. You want hundreds of lbs at least 200 lbs that give you something but then there is the front end which would have to be configured from under the car the front end and channeling air. Makes no sense to slap a massive spoiler on the rear and people just adding down force that will just mess up the cars' balance anyway. PD purposely limited the amount of downforce the rear wings can get because most people would end up getting wheelies, losing steering and understeering at high speeds.
Essentially PD thinks most who play this game have no clue about downforce in the first place and they are partially correct as many people think that a rear wing is going to magically help the car handle well without taking into account ground effect underbody airflow and front splitters with air dams and air flow channels along the bodywork of the car. It's a lot of work and requires a wind tunnel to get the numbers right. If we had the wind tunnel and ability to change the cars' body to allow for air channels to move air smoothly creating front end down force to match the rear and allow for different placement position of the rear wing then this game would be so much deeper, but I guess we'll have to wait and see what PD does, I'm hoping we get less adulterated tuning.

Enjoy the car as is, because with the aerodynamics code in this game all you're doing is adding more drag anyway, PD sooner or later is going to give us realistic downforce values for bolt on spoilers but that will come with more handling issues as a great many will not like the problems they will get that comes with it. I do like that they are simulating aero much better than before, now they need to bring back RM so we can modify car bodies to take advantage of air flow. I wonder if the Mitsubishi GTO's active aero works now?
