The new Audi R8 LMS made its debut in the 2nd round of VLN, DMV 4-hour race, and won it. Although it was a brand new car, it proved its potential in 24 Hours of Nürburgring. After 8 hours from the start, 3 Audi (#1, #28, and #4) occupied top 3 for a while. However, #1 crashed out og the race at the Pflanzgarten corner, and #4 suffered with the exhaust failure, and #28 became the last Audi that had a chance of winning.
After about 13.5 hours of grueling battles among #28 Audi, #25 BMW, and #44 Porsche, Audi triumphed over the others just by 40 seconds to become a 2-consecutive winning manufacturer.

Looks too much like the Audi TT now (the regular R8). Still voted though.

Looks much better as a race car than as a road car.
I completely agree. I am disappointed overall with the new generation road car styling - The rear is awful. The e-tron is the nicest version - but it makes a pretty cool looking race car.
