This car just came up in my UCD (Audi R8 LM Race Car ) never seen it before and im intrested in it.

Is it worth the 5.4 Million credits ?

I have just under 1 mill but can do b-spec seasonal and get 800k each time the car is second from top will i get enough cash in time if not what car is the best to sell for the most £.

Also got drivers in B-Spec grind worth not racing letting the b-spec run up £ then buy ?
 
Win it from the Nurburgring 4 hours in A-Spec. You aren't paying 5.4 million for something that shouldn't be even if you couldn't get it free.

There is also the Playstation livery R8 LMS, valued at the same price but isn't a prize car. If you want to collect that one too save up your money for that model instead.

Even if you couldn't win it, it still wouldn't be worth anywhere near that. It's slower than your typical Premium JGTC car, and it is also far rougher on its tires.
 
I like both LMS cars and even if they weigh 1300kg each, they are pretty fast. But they are not worth 5 million cr. You should specify which one is in your UCD, the Playstation or the normal one? If it's the normal one, you can win it in 4h Nurburgring. If not, I suggest a level ticket or a 2009 ticket.
 
When 787B premium costs 5millions, it's absolutely mad to spend them on R8 LMS...
 
I have the playstation version already looks very diffrent to the one in my ucd.

Im going to run the 4hr b-spec and win it decided to buy the other cars that were on offer for around 1 to 2 mill.

They are fun to drive.

Depends how much credits you have and how easy you can make them.
 
Pretty sure its the 4hr a-spec.

If like me you a grinding around the 500pp and 650pp Seasonals the credits are easy enough to get I'm nearly to the point of having bought all of the New cars and all of the over 30000 credit Used cars. The OCD is mine already. Frankly the four races are fun to drive and I'm now trying to win them on the opposition's tyre choice with a car that's below their points range. Not alwas possible but great fun and big money is easy to come by.

I bought the R8 having already got the R10, both a nice cars.
 
Unpaintable, so if you like the color then get it as you may not see it again.

Great car for The Ring.
 
I had this car already and wow is it ever awesome. :D Gray colored yes but still loving it.
 
I would avoid this car until you've got money to burn. Just not worth it. Like a previous poster said, the 787b is better for the money.
 
is it worth it... no... Did I still collect all the different colors... YES lol Its still one of my favorite cars except for its not really worth it or that good of a car lol
 
My personal opinion, the most overpriced car in the game. It's classified as a touring car, and most touring cars don't go over 1.5-2,000,000 credits. 5.2+ is ridiculous. I was immensely disappointed with mine.
 
The car is over priced and overrated in my opinion. The black one I won from the Nurburgring 4 Hours A-Spec at the most is worth 2.5 mil. Only for the name, though.

This. I bought all but two of my complete set (one of each color plus PS livery) and two more (Brilliantrot and Sepanblau) from UCD. Fun cars and I like having all colors of certain cars.

I love the R8 LMS and if you already got a 787B then get it, I would drive the R8 over the 787B anytime!
 
I get what the other guys are saying about this but I bought it from the UCD for 4.5ish and I have to say that I find it mush easier to win the A-Spec seasonal an Nurburgring than in My Minolta Toyota or my Peugeot LM car. the Minolta is quicker but I find the Audi much more stable (Particularly with a PS controller)

Also, you could buy this, race the Seasonal at grand Valley in it (detuned to 650) 6 times in about an hour and rack up 4.8 mil which will pay for it.

You could also do the a-spec seasonal at Nurburgring which would be more challenging but would take 1.5 hrs but get you the full 5 mil back.

It also looks good and the view from the Drivers seat is great.

Most definitely not worth 5 million. Based on madrid seasonal at around 4 million for 30 minutes of grinding.
If you ready to sacrifice a ticket, grab 2 bday 2009 and it'll probably take 20 minutes reloading until you see one.
 
In my opinion the R8 is certainly one of the easiest cars to drive fast. It just has TONS of grip. You can take Eau Rouge flat out with this baby. (at least with RS tyres)

Also for just under 600PP, it is a great weapon without the need to downtune Le Mans Racers.

So how do you reload a ticket? Is it similar to the dupeing disscused in another thread?

I think he means to use a ticket, see what the car is, and when you don't like it, you immediately exit GT5 before the game saves. Then you reload the game and try the ticket again. And again. And again...

Yes, its similar but since you can't trade it there is no duplication of cars

Saved Data Utility (PS3) in the XMB menu, just above your trophies.
Save: PS3 (GT5 save) => USB stick
Open the ticket Bday ticket(s), if your not happy..
Load: USB (GT5 save) => PS3 (Always in the "Saved Data Utility (PS3)")
Repeat until you get the car you want, you will loose the ticket(s) if you keep the car so technically its not duping.
