Does anyone else feel this way? I have 5 of em now with varying tunes and they all seem a bit sluggish for cars of their performance point range. Even when the turbo has been added, the performance level goes up but not enough to match the new performance point level. I know not all cars with comparable power-to-weight ratios will perform alike, but the LMS seems slower than what I would consider reasonable for the bottom end of its PP. :grumpy:

I agree and they should be selling for less than half of what they're asking...5,xxx,xxx credits is outrageous.

Absolutely, constantly makes me nervous that the Daytonagrau Perleffekt one will show up and I won't have the money. :scared:

5+ million credits for a GT3 car. O.o

Got to be one of the most hilariously overpriced cars in all of GTdom. Whether it is actually true-life GT3 speed I don't know as I haven't wasted the money and it's been a while since I last saw one and read the specs. But I assume it's basically the same as the R8 LMS car that I won, and that runs the Ring 4 hour. So it's probably not exactly making GT1s (which you can get for less than half the price) sweat very much, and certainly not the comparably priced LMPs and Group Cs. Of course, I'm probably wrong, I usually am.

Test against cars at same PP and you'll find its quite good but I know what you mean, something about it feels slow and I can't put my finger on it!

Hi

I find it runs out of speed/power around 200mph not matter what the gearing is or power.

I find it's quick out of corners & up to around 150mph. But it's not worth 5million. The chrome line R8 I have isn't really any slower.

Yes, it's expensive... :ouch: but despite it's low top speed, I think it's a magnificent car to drive :)... But the point is: If you don't get the color you want after completing the Nurb 4hr enduro, you have to wait for it to appear in the UCD...

And BUY it...

Yes, but it is made for the ring.

The only car I know of around this PP that is relaxing to drive there. Put 1, 2 or 3 wheels on the grass and it doesn't care.

Every other race car and I touch the grass and automatically wind up facing backwards.

You can also get the car from a 2009 birthday ticket. :)

I would suggest giving the Yellowhat Supra a try. That's one of only 2 race cars that actually I enjoy driving around the Nurburgring (the other being the Chaparral 2D).

I actually think that stock the R8 LMS is too fast for its PP. The CLK Touring Car has slightly higher PP stock and gets utterly ousted by the R8 LMS.

By the way, to define 'slow for its PP', try a fully modified Caterham Seven Fireblade. 626PP, but it feels like 500. Stock it isn't good either at its PP...

It 1300KG its going to have slower acceleration with the weight penalty
But still prefer this ....

to the plane colour scheme..
Its still the super car for the events that it was added for.
Just try B-spec remote races. kills the other cars in the Audi TT event.

By the way, I'm now remote racing in the Madrid race where it's winning more epic then Charlie
Yep Ive seen it spawn up to 3 R8 LMS race cars.
2 playstation and 1 normal paint jobs. And yep even with the extra weight its realy hard for it to lose. Even when the AI crash at the chicane to block the road 1 of the R8 LMS will be a head of the crash.
The mercedes and lexus are red herrings for the event.
You want the R8s or astras..

Good point about it being a 'Ring car, as that's the event you win it from. I also agree that it's a really relaxing car to drive fast, out of the box it needs taming but that's relatively easy without sacrificing any performance. Who knows, it may not actually be slower than the other cars in its range but it feels that way.
