Audi R8 Race Car '01 - Red vs. Yellow

I tried searching the forums first for information on this and couldn't really find an answer.

There are two R8 '01s. One in red and one in yellow. Does anyone know the frequency of pulling one or the other? Duck, perhaps? I have the yellow one, I want the red one. As far as I know it's the only LMP that has a livery change.

Thoughts?
 
The UCD operates on a specific cycle,which had been mapped to find when cars show up. The thread is in the link below.

Pescarolos have tiny changes in their livery between numbers - #17s have green mirrors, #18s have red.
 
The Peugeot 908s are from 2 different teams, but the same car.
 
With a 23 level ticket you have all the chances to get a red one...but you have to work for it...at least I get both audi's this way.

I know about the Peugeots. I'm talking about cars that are labeled the same. The Peugeots are labeled as different cars to the game. I didn't know about the Pescarolos. Thanks for the info, C-ZETA.
 
There is no performance difference between the red and yellow Audi from my experience.

No, that is just how Audi coloured their R8's for many dominant years. One in red, one in yellow. They're the same cars otherwise. For the R10 only the rollover hoops were yellow/red on each car, maybe the wing mirrors as well.

But yes in short it was just a unique design for each car of the same team.
 
Red is rare. Appeared only twice in a year in the UCD for me.
 
If only it was blue instead of yellow...then I could crack a bad Halo joke :lol:.
 
As stated there is no difference between the red and the yellow and also the red does take longer to show in the UCDm

Try cycling a 23 ticket to get the red one.
