sorry for the delayed response everyone(as if anyones waiting on me, hehe:D ) but ive been working my arse off and when u work fulltime and have a girlfriend its really like working two jobs:O (im glad my gf isnt down with message boards hehe)!!

anyways, back to buisness. i was going to respond yesterday to something along the lines of what e1eveN said and i think im getting the entire concept of lanevo's explination. here's what i gather...a smaller turbo has doesnt hold bo0st as the engine sucks in more air at higher rpm's because the more the air moved through the engine means the less bo0st needed to be created by the turbo. so the harder the engine works, the less the turbo has to raise compression to create the desired ratio i.e. 11:1. makes sense :D :D and the bigger turbo holds bo0st through the power band because it raises the compression even higher and the engine needs the the turbo to keep working to reach maxium power!!! eureka!!!!:D :D...oh yeah havent had time to tune the audi tt, slappin on bigger turbo tonight and going from there.

oh yeah, just won a "cactus green" audi S4, had a white one on my previous game and i had forgotton how much i love this car!!! tuned to about 471 hp, t2's, all out in everything else, its just a very drivable, linear powered awd, i love it!!! gonna tune it to run with the big boys (JGTC cars, LM cars, etc..) and show them up in a sedan!!!

i didnt mean to confuse anyone with my last post, i just mentioned the S4 cuz i was excited i found an new enjoyable car to drive, not to bring it into our discussion of the audo tt losing bo0st pressure;)...and lanevo, is my retelling of your explanation correct?? i just want to make sure im understanding what your explaining so i can further my knowledge of turbo dynamics:D :D

of topic...hasnt everyone BEEN ready for gt4?? i meen half the reason i got back into gt3 was because i knew gt4 is scheduled to be due 'round christmas time...just a lil impatience:banghead: :D

I can't wait for GT4 to come out. I may be at the US Air Force basic training around Christmas, so my parents said they'd grap the game and the steering wheel/pedal set while I am there.

I have had the same turbo problem with the Tom's X540 Chaser. And that car is awesome, and one of my staple drift cars when I race my friends. So if anyone does have the exact cure and it was stated earlier, please tell me nicely that I overlooked it. It's about 2am where I am, and I'm not quite awake.

Keep on drifting...

Usually it happens when you have too much power for the car, the same thing happens with the New Beetle...the Tom's Chaser goes absolutely fine for me, no problems with that, but if you have a low powered car, it usually happens when you have a full racing exhaust, and the car only needs a semi-racing exhaust.
