funny, to me it seems that it's just a TT with 2l FSI turbo and quattro.. that has been photoshopped. look at the RS sign in the grille, it isn't in straight line compared to the licence plate, thus, it could as well be a photochop.. and if that pic is from autobild, it IS a photochop.

I'm not keen on the regular new TT (or the old one) so I doubt an agressive bodykit would change that.

I like it a lot, and I am eager to see how it would perform in the days to come.

...But, if I'm going to buy a Vee Dub with the 3.6, I'm saving my money for an R36 (assuming it does come together).

yes it will. next gen R model golf is R36, and it'll be out '08, I think, with 280 bhp.

Its not bad looking, but the G.M.G. a.k.a. Gaping Mouth Grille just terrifies me...at least you cant see it while youre driving it.

I think the current one is too "VW Beetle with a touch of Audi grille & headlights"esque. But with the style that Audi's been going with lately, I think the new TT looks fantastic. And when I saw the standard one at the NY Auto Show a few weeks ago, it looked even better than in the photos.

The more agressive front makes the car look a helluva lot better, not to say the standard one doesnt look good, but the extra edge does it good.

the looks are only as good as they're acceptence, and so far that looks 50/50. but the powertrain...

i like the looks. a bit like the R8 from the front.
