The sharp, clean, intense effects found in most shooters these days remains great, but it’s starting to all blend together and in truth, none of them stand head-and-shoulders above other FPS competition. Besides, there’s so much Polyphony Digital had to get right, which ups the level of sound achievement in Gran Turismo 5 to truly epic proportions.

I think they just now discovered all over again that all the cars in GT5 sound like Casios. ;)
