This is the best thing I have done to my setup, I got two Aura Bass Shaker Pro's on ebay for $34 shipped and I also go a PIONEER VSX-D514-S 5.1 HOME THEATER RECEIVER off of ebay for $53 shipped,
I could of bought a sub amp that would of cost more money but now I have Five channels at 100 watts each for all the shakers I want and will be surround Tactical. Right now I only have two Aura's on one channel because they are 4ohm and the receiver is 8ohm so had to run them together to get 8ohm, I will get two more Aura's for a second channel and run them in Stereo. For the little money I spent I cant go wrong with this setup, I raced for about two hours and I turned off the shakers and what a difference it makes, This cost me about half of what a buttkicker gamer 2 would of cost and I have so much more room for this setup to grow with. I am only on a ps3 right now but some day I want to go PC Racing. The Receiver is just for Aura Shakers I have Klipsch pro media speakers for sound.
Just thought I would show people a cheaper way to get Shakers.
Thanks

Once you go PC and get simvibe to run those things it will completely amaze you. I had a buttkicker gamer sit in the closet for the last 2 years. GT5 kind of ruined it because the wind noise just made it vibrate all the time.

The simvibe software actually makes the shakers work with the in game telemetry and not the sound. It works alot better then i thought it would. I just ordered 2 mini LFE buttkickers and bought and adcom 5400 amp used from a forum I am on. Can't wait until the stuff gets here.

What games have you tried them with. I think forza 3 was about the best console game I tried the gamer with.

They work great with GT5, I dont get any wind noise, it works great with a receiver, I cant wait to go pc with three monitors.

Congrats ronzer, happy shaking. I agree, tactile is a great addition to any rig.

@Bevo
I find the wind noise in GT5 to be great. I use a Clark Synthesis TST209, and the wind noise translates to a great road feel, IMO.

thanks, I will never run without it, what a difference it makes.

Maybe it was just the amp on the original gamer. I couldn't ever get the wind noise to calm down enough to feel anything else

Good deal on that receiver. I've been looking for a few weeks to find an option for me. I found one tonight but no where near the deal you found.

Glad to hear it's working well Ronzer. I'm also loving my Aura Pros and Sinus Live Bass Pump 3's. Those prices you quoted mean you got great value.

Try driving at Eiger Nordwand short track - you go over a slatted wood bridge and you feel all the bumps of the slats plus the thump when your car lamps after the crest.

I don't know if anyone has done a list of the best cars for tactile transducers (i.e. strongest effect), but if you haven't already try the Audi R8 sports car, C63 and SLS Mercs, Alfa Romeo 8C (the one in the Grand Tour special event at Eiger), Nissan GTR N24

Re wind noise - I don't find that there is much if you use the cockpit view, which I normally do. Wind noise is louder in bonnet view, but I don't find it a problem with my shaker setup.

Use an equalizer to help tame some of the wind noise at high speeds. Just my two cents but their is much more to tuning your tactile to your tastes.
