Only days after our biggest meet of the year, PAC Performance's Mazda 6 breaking the world rotary record the other day. 👍



Can't wait to see how low they can take this record. :cool: Our 2JZ boys are only just behind the Titan record too, getting 6.40's now and 220mph+.

Here's the action from Jamboree, Australia's biggest annual import drag event. Some notable times in the vids are:
World's Quickest RX3 - 7.081@193mph!! :eek:
Gas Celica - 6.48 (beating Titan on the day with best ET!)
RayGlass Celica - 220mph Trap Speed.
PAC running 6.82.
AWD GT-R running 7.87 (only 4th GT-R in the world to get 7's!)
Datto 1200 ute (4cyl) running 7.62.

Qualifying - Pro Turbo, etc.


Street Car classes.


Pro Turbo - Sunday

well, they're hitting Pro Stock times, now. Might be interesting to see the Factory Hot Rods take on the Turbo Monsters.

They're actually quicker than Pro Stock times Jim (PS hasn't hit 6.40's yet!), you're thinking more about Pro Modified/Top Doorslammer. And over here in Australia, we've got the record for that too, down into the 5.80's now. :cool:


I might get some more vids of that stuff and change the title to Aussie Drag Action. 👍
 
Like I said in the previous post, I'd find some more footage of our monster cars and put them up and just make it general Aussie drag action.

First off, the WORLD'S QUICKEST AND FASTEST RX3! He's improved his PB to a 7.044!! :eek: Plus other footage of him from Jamboree.



Next for something different.....how about a street driven 10sec VAN?! :odd:



Then finally for the V8 fans, here's some Top Doorslammer (Pro Modified for US guys) qualifying action from the FUCHS Nationals here in Sydney last weekend. 👍 Includes some 5 second passes!!

I think I know why the quickest/fastest RX3 is a sedan...

That's... That's insane. :lol: Coupe would be too short wheelbase to even try and handle that sort of output.

IHRA Mountain Motor Pro Stocks are getting into the 6.40s, 220 mi/h.
