auto cross....

today on sunday they have a yearly auto cross meet here in the bay area, at de anza college.
and the cars there were sick!!!!
they had the usual 4 bangers, but one of the best was a porsche gt2! yes a porsche gt2 one of ten in cali!, it performed well with an old fat guy driving it....
a camaro (which i thought would do bad) actually did GOOD!, 2secs behind the gt2, but be4 i went dere, dere was a skyline r33 which did extremly well, dere was also an nsx that spun out and got a DNF, but this would have been a better autocross if it didnt rain!!!!

I bet it was fun watching them auto-x in the rain, though...:) Were they driftin' everywhere?

ya man seeing them spin out was sick, especially the gt2!!!
but it still had on of the fastest times....
 
oh yea they also had a ae86 coupe! ,and this car was loud i think it had webbers..... was quik also ehhehe drift master!

i went to the dragstrip this afternoon (just came back) and it was quite pleasing...

there were a few interesting things to see... I spoke to a guy with an old Camaro (69 RS with a 454,Blower and nitrous... :eek: :drool: ) he was cool with me... since the strip was nearly taken by the Muscle cars (there were less than 10 sport compacts/imports) i didn't really feel like belonging here...


but the guy with the Camaro asked me if i wanted a ride for a single run...

I nearly wet myself!!! it was incredible! that thing was taking off like nothing else i've seen! you'd see the sky for a second and a half, then the front end would get back on the ground, the rear is squatting, i'm holding to the roll cage like mad...

this is how a 9 second pass feels like... :eek:


oh, and my times? let's just not mention them... :o

youve felt the power of a V8...:lol:
 
they are really common here in oz. heaps of nice R33 and R34's where i live. next door neighbour has a 480hp R32. its pretty good.

i pretty much more felt the power of a supercharger and 200hp worth of Nitrous... and the biggest Mickey Thompson slicks i've ever seen! :D
 
Skylines are certainly very rare in the U.S... in fact, the only reason that I've seen Skylines in person is because I travel to Thailand every other year (Asian county=lots of Japanese cars)

My mom's place of birth. :) She hates it there though... :D Too much traffic in Bangkok, rains like every-other day, and there are so many stray dogs it's unbelievable...

yeah theres heaps of rats and mice in the country and inland parts of australia, not on the coast where i live...just 8 foot 2nd most venomous snakes in the world.

Hey, rats make excellent pets... I've had 4 rats as pets, and they are really great. They are easy to take care of (just clean the cage weekly), yet they are very intelligent creatures, believe it or not.
 
rats are rats.!!!!
yea they make cool pets but not trillions of them running in the field and depleting all farm crops.....
