Auto Save Broken?

I just lost about 3-4 hours of progress today due to a power outage.

Prior to the outage, I finished the last few Circuit Experiences today and got 100% and also completed about 6 Daily races in Sport mode.

After the outage, I still see my accomplishment in my log for 100% and my times, yet my progress was reset back to 92%

I'm also missing the 6 races I did this morning in the achievements tracker.

I recommend everyone manually saving because I think this is a much larger bug/issue at hand.
 
I must have something in common with your power outage.

The game saves normally on me.

But better to be safe and double save. You never know. ;)
 
I got in the habit of saving before I closed the game... and during.. several times I have lost progress in this game.. totally annoying having everything saved on the server vs locally and backed up on the server.

What was PD thinking when they made the decision to do that?
 
I lost a full day worth of progress, about 4M credits, 10k miles, a few thousand XP and a couple car tunes, just because the game crashed while idling in the main menu... I guess that corrupted the savegame.
For some reason the server only had an old save stored, even though I regularly save the game manually. Seems like it doesn't upload every time you save the game, but only once a day or so.
