Who is up for a hot lap at the Nurburging using the Auto Union? Clean OLR rules of course, and only an oil change to the car would be allowed. No suspension or other changes. It's a challenge even to get one lap around the entire course without crashing....

Anyone up for it? If enough interest is generated, we can choose other cars to do this with too (the '54 Gullwing would be a good choice too)

Driving aides are up to you; but no changing suspension settings or anything else.

No f'ing way.. I've driven the Auto Union ONCE, and it stays that way... What a boat.. Helps a little though if you put the wheel in 200 degree mode... Still a boat though...

Look, on stock settings (except for oil change) I just did a sub 7 lap.....it's possible :)

I know it's not slow, it just went 204 on the straight haha

But I'm saying that with gentle driving you can get it to do some competitive times :)

Well guys, I just did a flying lap with the Auto Union. Almost lost it a couple times, but damnit I did it!

It takes a lot of patience and frequent letting off the gas in the area around T9, and the end, but it is possible to get an entirely clean competitive lap. I am WELL under 7 minutes and can knock off more if I got lucky.

Come on guys, lets see you can master the nurb in this car :)
