Auto Union V16: paint?

Something seriously isn't right here.
If you try and paint The Audi Auto Union, everything goes crazy. Look at these pictures. Black is like... super secret stealth mode. Chrome turns into matte...

Maybe it wasn't supposed to be painted?

I assumed it wasn't paintable. But it would have looked pretty cool in silver chrome if the coat didn't turn into a completely different paint type.

Only thing you can do to it is paint, turbo and nitro. No wheels... no other parts :/
But yea, GT Chrome 001=silver chrome and...it's like matte black.
