I have now driven 7,940 miles and still this trophy won't pop up. It says you only need 7,903 miles, so I'm a little puzzled as to why its not showing up. Its the last one I need for Platinum, so I'm a little annoyed its not showing up. Anyone else have a problem getting this trophy to pop up?

EDIT: Nevermind, just ran a few more races at Motegi and it finally popped, so its more like you have to drive roughly 50 miles over.

Anyways, Platinum at last!!!!!:D

Nice

The only trophy I'm still missing...

I had the same problem, so I switched to km instead of miles and it was still under. I believe the miles to km is off. Also the trophy did not pop up while I was in test drive mood. I wanted to snap a pick of the exact spot I reached the mark but it never showed up until after I exited free run. :-(

Ah, you're probably right then about the km. I was doing it in miles.

Pfffft....till searched and found out this was a common issue I was like WTF... got to the 7,903 miles nothing, but can now confirm it is the km distance you have to reach to umlock trophy fully. The true mile distance if that is the units you use is approximately 7,949 miles then you get it.

Can someone officially tell me whether the online (free-run) kilometers add to Stats total? I just want to be sure the game's not sticking on me.

You have to drive 50 or 60 miles or further to get the trophy you have to go over 7,903 miles. I know a few friends have got the trophy just over 8000 miles and they did not use km.

Hmmm...
7,903 km = 4,910 miles
or,
4,910 miles = 12,792.68 km

Why wouldn't the total distance required to get the trophy be the same regardless of the unit of measure?
Looks like yet another bug.

I'll be getting this tonight, just around 70 miles to go! Then just another easy trophies and it will be my second ever platinum, the other was on Dirt 2 which was an awesome game. Unfortunately I have a different PSN now so only 1 platinum to show.

As an FYI, there appears to be a bug about free-run in online mode not adding to mileage.

This has kept me from getting this trophy, I've done easily 5,000 km. Of ITCC practice, but I'm still 5,000 km short. Online free-run may or may not add to that total, but I'm thinking it doesn't.

My trophy popped up while I was in a Free Run Nurb lobby, so, yes.

👍 :D thanks!

I'll be getting it shortly, then. Only another 200 hours longer...

Tip for trophy hunters: ITCC cars are why it will take me 200 hours more. NASCAR's average speed is higher, so you get the trophy after less time. Drive fast cars.

Quite the opposite: I'm telling people that driving cars with approximately 450 pp is a slow way to get the trophy.

However, your post contributes nothing to the thread, and you have links in your signature to ToCA. Post spam advertisement? :sly:

Read your signature and posts first ;)

Does the trophy count both online and offline?

Yes, yes it does. I've checked everything as related to that. (online and offline)

Anyways, as far as the whole "plug" thing goes, I'm sure people will click on the signature link if they want, regardless of whether or not I mention the cars. With that said, I don't think people mind my references to my series - as long as it's relevant, informational and at least partially helpful.

In this case, I'm explaining the simplicity of the idea... If you travel faster, you cover more distance in less time - getting the trophy sooner. I'm making the comparison between driving a generic group of 450pp cars against a group of 880pp cars. <----- it makes sense, that a Formula GT or Red Bul X2011 is the car to use if you want a quick platinum... And that ITCC cars aren't...

It's an anti-plug.

You could always do a quick run-through to check that you indeed have all trophies, and then save the game, back out, and re-enter to see if that makes it pop. :)

Good luck! :)

I definitely got platinum, it's showing up on my PSN profile. It didn't pop up though, a bit weird, maybe it'll show up the next time I play GT6
