THEME: In their words: "Capture your vision of a beautiful long cruise.
We all love cars. We probably seek to fulfill that dream of taking our favourite vehicle out for a cruise. Maybe it's a cruise along the ocean coast, maybe it's at dawn in the outback. Express yourself in this one. Take a minute to picture what an unforgettable drive is in your eyes, and then capture that in your photo."
Editing: Levels, Curves, Colour Balance, Brightness/Contrast, Hue/Saturation, Shadows/Highlight adjustments, Cropping, or anything else capable in the development process or with filters and common special lenses (such as gradients) are allowed to be used in Photoshop or other image editing softwares. Other adjustments and effects (such as paintbrush tools) are not allowed to be used in your picture . You may also use Unsharp Mask.
Photographs should ideally include some composition and effect - Base the photo on a studio shoot, or even use diorama/composition to create a realistic setting (you could position the model and camera in such a way in an outside setting so that it appears to be a 'real' car)
No HDR shots.
Shots must be taken between January 2015 and the present day.
Work that has been shown previously (outside of the competition) is allowed.
One entry per competition. You may change your entry as many times as you wish, however the entry you wish to submit should clearly be labelled with "Final Entry".
Pictures posted should preferably be around 900px on their longest edge. You may link to a larger photograph in the post (I believe this is the size limit allowed by the Photography forum, however it likely hasn't been updated in some time)
All scales of model are allowed unless specified.
Deadline for each bi-weekly competition will be 10:30pmEST on a Monday, poll will be up by 11:00 pmEST
Voting will be open for 5 days, and close on Saturday at 11:00 EST
I put the whole weekend, plus 3 weekday evenings worth of diorama building just to capture this unedited photo (aside from cropping) for this game.

I will admit I had tons of fun putting this stuff together.
I originally wanted to do a panning shot, but I didn't want to work out the logistics behind getting something set up for that, granted that that would violate post-editing rules if I were to do stacked photos.
I admire your dedication to your own premise. With spectacular results.
That's definitely along the lines of what I was thinking of doing. Although, most likely, less good. I was leaning towards panning though, we'll see if I can manage such a thing.
Only partially related, I was thinking of what to do for the 100th competition. Although I wasn't the originator of this competition, I volunteered to run it for a week or two, then took it over around the 10th competition. To make it to 100 is quite something, for a niche little thing like this. I was thinking perhaps an open edit? Anything goes then, including stacked photos. I am very open to any suggestions though.

I took a much easier route for panning, haha. And no real diorama building for me. Although I think your setup is incredible, and something I would like to attempt at some point.
I went through a few cars before settling on the Enzo. I started with small-scale: 205 GTi (back wheels wouldn't roll!) Alpine A110 (wouldn't drag properly). They also just didn't look the best on the setup I had - I think I hadn't found the right background for them. The only other cars I considered were my older Gallardo, but the window reflections wouldn't have helped with this setup. Can't really use convertibles for a motion shot. And I'm lacking in street machines.
This was also a B-roll shot, I had taken most of the shots with a different background! But then when looking at them later, I liked this one a lot more than the others I had done.
