Be able to paint your vehicles.

Be able to get body kits on all vehicles.

Be able to get hydraulics on all vehicles.

Change the size of rims on all vehicles, also have a wider selection of rims.

Neon lights under you vehicles would really be great!

Way over 1,000 vehicles.

Cockpit view on all vehicles.

Cars, trucks, and S.U.V.s.

When you buy tires, for example dirt tires, you should have different sizes. Sizes should range as big as monster trucks use, but limit this luxury to only suvs and trucks.

Nitrous Oxide!!!

When you enter the pits, actually show the pit crew working on your car, changing tires, etc.

Be able to get nascar race cars.

Still keep the F-1 cars from GT3, but add on a little bit more.

Copy and paste the ideas that you like.
 
Nice idea's but your asking a bit much there, probably with the PS3 that'll be possible maybe, we'll just have to wait.

I'll be happy if GT4 just contains more cars and a better method of winning prize cars, like the unlocking method someone posted a while back, sounds good to me!

I can also laugh at my mate because he's got an xbox and he's waiting for Project Gotham 2, hehe Beat that Megashaft Xplop

They must make you shave off at least a tenth of a second there.

Good idea and I am all about it, but you can't just limit it, if it can be done to one it needs to be done to all.

I agree with a lot on your list but those few urked me. I hope they can provide a few of them :D

The only thing I agree with is that the cockpit veiw should be used. Have you looked at the dirt to daytona game? I have raced real dirt cars and their veiw is on the money.
Here is my wish list.....
1. cockpit veiw.

2. Way better A.I

3. I-link mode and if using the i link let the players choose their cars and use their set ups from their own garage.

4. I really don't care about costomizing individule cars but it would be nice to have the option to pick from a variety of colors.

5. Put in some of the old tracks from gt 1 and 2 (the short tracks)

6. Let some of the other FF wheel manufactures in on building wheels and shifters for the gt series. I like Logitech but I would much rather have an Act labs wheel and pedals with the gated 6 speed shifter.

7. Damage. I know this opens up a whole new can of worms... but they could keep it simple. I dont think they need to show beat up cars but simply make the cars drive in a manner in which it would if one pancaked a wall or ran into another car at a fast rate of speed. This my friend would keep the race driver honest.

8. I wouldn't mind it if they let you make a call (or change) to your car while in the pits.

9. I know this may offend a few people but, I wouldn't care if they done away with the rally part of the game. I think the rally part is good in the game but they should make a seperate game for the rally. I mean the guys who run SCCA don't have to run rallies in their season. Thats just my opinion.

10. More tracks and more cars


Thats it and my wish list is very feasible and not out of line.
 
Do you mean my title. Well you know how you'll look down a list of things like porn? This list is only words though ok? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, you read something that really interests you! You click it and you think it's okay, but it has nothing to do with what the title says. Then you realize, they only put that just so u would come to their site, and nobody elses. Well I was looking down the list for rumors and some of them are very interesting but have nothing to do with their titles. Read them yourselves. There's more people looking on the ones that sound interesting. I tried my best to explain it my best so, there you go!

I think I really could do away with NASCAR race cars!
 
Well it certainly got my attention. (-: Must be a long day as it seems to be as it is today. The efforts of deciphering such riddles were beyond my scope of understanding at this moment in time, but appreciate your explaination as to the origin and motivation to your post.

Jay Dee, point taken, I see what you meant. Why don't you like NASCAR? I like all forms of auto racing no matter what it is. I have been to many many different types of races of all forms. I think a true driver admires anyone whom can focus on the task at hand for as many hrs as the Nascar guys. It's not their fault they are over glorified and have the biggest fan turnout of any motorsport. I say its better than any stick and ball game.
 
I do like the idea of having NASCAR race cars, but when I think about it, I have played my cousins NASCAR game and they're really not all that fun. I would support having them or not having them it really doesn't matter to me.

While I am not a huge fan of NASCAR, I find your disdain rather odd......

Last I checked, no one has complained about the (overpowered) F1/Indy Cars in GT3. In fact, these seem to be most peoples favorites. What exactly is the difference?? Oh yea, Indy is mostly foreign whereas Nascar is pure American. Thats the only difference I see (and honestly, NASCAR cars look MUCH cooler than F1 cars, in regards to the paint schemes).

In addition, we have race mods (again for non-american racing leagues) of a number of Japanese cars. Should these be thrown out too??

IF PD decides to put the road variants of the NASCAR-cars in the game (Taurus SES, Intrepid R/T) then why not throw in the extra NASCAR variants of these cars. All it can do is make the game better, as those who desperately want them can have them, while those that dislike the can skip them.

I dislike most Japanese cars, but you don't see me screaming to have NO Japanese cars in GT4 do you?? Maybe a few less Lancer and Miata variants, but the cars themselves are certainly welcome in GT4 in my opinion.
 
JD, I see you are just not a fan of the games themselves. I totally agree! I own an x box and ps2 and have played them all and have only found one that I like. I like the new Dirt to Daytona for the ps2 . The main reason is because you can use the ff wheel and that you can also race dirt street stocks (which i used to race). Have you played sprint car 2002? Its a great game but you cant use the wheel.
 
I don't like Nascar as such, but I wouldn't mind seeing them in GT4 (not that I think they would be). I really like the concept of the 'car encyclopedia' that the designers were talking about a couple of years ago, and it would be remiss of the designers to not include them. They'd be interesting to drive - they are, after all, basically the US touring car category, and since we've seen German, Australian, and with some building, British touring cars in the GT series, seems only fair to have US ones in there.
 
hey vat, just read you bio. I live in Missouri usa but have a younger bro in Alice Springs in the Down under. He is over there racing at the current time and loves it. Well let me take that back they are in the off season right now but he was racing. He loves it there you are one lucky cat.
 
Thank you all for your thoughts, you're really smart thinkers! Now I get the point of having them, but not using them if you don't want. If the game does have them I'll have at least 4-5 of them anyways. I live in a big family of NASCAR fans, and I live in Laurens county South Carolina. In the Summer I love goin to the Laurens dirt track. I think that people like us (boys, men, and old timers) I believe that the racing spirit is just our blood!
 
Sorry if I offended anyone, but women have their rights too. It just could be in women's blood too!
 
if they have racing mods for nascar cars if they have nascar cars i hope they give us a selection

example: pontiac:jonny benson,mike skinner,rickie craven,jack sprague ect not al 50 cars but some of the popular drivers :)
 
I've heard that they will put in some roadversions of the nascar cars, like the ford, pontiac and chevy. and when you buy the racingmods for these cars, THEY WILL TURN INTO NASCARS!!! ;)

Frankly, except for the more F1 cars idea, the 1000+ cars and NASCAR idea, which would add to diversity, I don't support any of these; they seem out of place and of little longterm appeal. I frankly do not find cycling through several wheels much fun at all, nor do I care to adjust color scales. I might use it, but I'd rather memory be on features useful to racing, like being able to equip different tires in the pits and have other changes performed. I would also dump the engine wear idea.
