Interesting problem...

I've noticed that after I've had an avater for about a month, it will suddenely go awry, and I'll have to "reattach" it to get it right. For instance, it seems like that month has come up... noticed how my avater loops way before it should. This has happened to me 3 times in the past, though I haven't noticed it on anybody else. And if it has to do with cookies, please tell me what to do (I'm an idiot). :smilewink

No, I don't think it has to deal with cookies, but I've never seen a problem like that before. The next time you see it, save the "awry avatar" on your hard drive so I can get a better understanding of the problem. :)

Okay, thanks... it'll probably be a while before I can save it, being that it's back to normal. ;)

(BTW, just to give you an idea of what's wrong... about two-thirds into the avater, it'll start looping again... so, in the case of my current avater, it would loop right before the left paddle would hit the ball for the 3rd time...)

Hmmm, that really sounds like a strange problem. I thought the animation could be getting messed with in the database, but then it appears that would affect all avatars - not just one. Well, save it the next time you see it and send/post a copy. :)

Well, I saw it again last night, and saved it (hope the attachment works...)

[edit]: Unfortunately, the file is a php, and I have no way of saving it otherwise... :(

You saved the whole page? Just rename it to .html or .htm and it will be the same thing. But, if you saved the whole page, then your avatar should be saved in a folder located in the same directory as the page.

Erm, I saved only the avater... I'll try it again with .html...

[edit]: Oops, "lowlies" can't attach htmls...
