Evening, i was hoping someone could tell me if this lamborghini ( modded) could go toe to toe with the cars in the 24 hour endurance race, you see, ive fallen for the aventador its the best looking supercar for me now and i want to drive it for great lenghs of time just to see how many miles i can rack up on it, change the oil, imagine the soot in the exhaust what not, but theres no place in gt5 apart from practice mode where you can just rack up miles so can it be done?.

Only offline events and practice I'm afraid.

Indeed, anyone know if it will compete with le mans cars?

There was a guy a while ago who managed to win Le Mans in a fully tuned McLaren F1, but that was before the tire wear update and (from memory) he did a lot of corner cutting. What you could do, is to run a 5 lap stint and see how your placing. If you're easily leading go for it, but if you have to cut every corner to keep up...

Heres the thread... https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=215459&highlight=mclaren+f1+lemans 👍

Here's a little extract...
I won the 24 hours of le mans in a mclaren f1 road car!! Yay!!!!

It may be a close call  the aventador is a beast.

You must have a really good set up to reduce the amount of understeer in order to keep up with LMP1 in the corners.

Yeah, considering some of the LMP1 cars are nearly half the weight of the Lambo.

I was hoping to do it in B-spec, not going to happen though is it lol.

I doubt it. :(

I did the Veyron in Bspec against the LMP's way before the tire wear update. It held them off pretty good on Le Sarthe since its a lot of straights for about 4 laps until tire degradation. Now with th enew tire wear its probably impossible as you will need the SS to do it. You need a tire advantage in Bspec to have a chance with a road car imho and now we dont have that option as the SS wears very fast now. The Aventador wont stand a chance in a Bobs hands...Tracks with lots of turns I don't think it will have a chance.

Just do a test of 10 laps or so, you may find it easier if your driving style is good enough, would be quite an achievement too if you win it.

Put front aero on it and set front LSD at 5,5,5 and rear at 35,50,35 keeping 30/70 torque split!

I really love the Aventador too, but going up against the LMP1 cars might be a challenge even fully tuned, those cars are made to be pure bred racing machines. LMPS have a better weight to power ratio, and they have much better down force.

But nevertheless, If you do give it a go, do let us know of the outcome. Good luck :)

If they AI was worth a ****, I would say you haven't a hope in hell. But we all know that AI in GT5 stands for artificial idiots.

Im not sure about Nurb 24h, but le mans i doubt you even stand a chance. AI really are idiots, but in this particular race they are actually quite decent. I tried it this week with the new Jag (stock no oil change) and on RS tires i was gaining 4-5 secs max a lap on fresh set, and im not that slow, i think my best lap was 3:25 or so.
