What is your average haul of A-Spec points per race win?

In order to work this out, you need to subtract the amount of A-Spec points gathered from Mission Hall away from your total (250 x the no. of Missions completed), and then divide that number by the number of races you have won...

It's hardly scientific, but I think it's quite an interesting statistic... (make of it what you will... :sly: )

For example, here is mine:

Total A-Spec points - 14379
Mission Hall A-Spec pts - 250 * 34 = 8500
A-Spec points from racing - 5879
Number of races won - 215

Average A-Spec pts per race won - 27.3

Sitting on about 77.8-ish at the moment, but that's only because I'm on 2.2% complete and was stupid enough to take the Autobianchi 112 on the Lightweight K Series in stock form. Narrowly won all three races (I was convinced I'd lost the 4-lapper at Motorland ...)

37.718. I should stop driving my Ford GT in the Stars n Stripes races...

its only a small point, but surely you can only work this out, once you're at 100% and you divide by the max number of races (512, not the races won) as you only get a-spec points once.

but I've got over 40,000 points and raced 693 races so my figure would be something like 45.45 (which is rubbish)

edit nope its not its closer to 75 (took all 8500 points off for missions I haven't completed all the missions)

but its still rubbish

Average = 194.............so close, yet so far. 👎

Using deadboy's formula (points minus Driving Missions, divided by 512)- 178.7

I don't get the 512 races thing... can someone explain? Do you only 'keep' your highest A-Spec points per race? i.e. in theory, if you did the same race over and over again, at 100 A-Spec points each time, you'd only have a total of 100? Or would it keep adding up? What happens if you re-do a mission you've already passed? Do you get the 250 points again? If so, then my whole calculation is a pile of poo...

Assuming that 512 is the correct number of possible races at 100% Completion, I have 83021-8500/512=145.55 A-Spec Points per Race.
Although I've got 100% game completion, some events, including most of the endurance races were done in B-Spec.
I intend to re-run most of my missing A-Spec races over the next several months, but right now, I am concentrating on Enthusia, and I will pick up Forza once the price drops.

Lets see...
Total A-spec = 24520 (Note : Only 25.6% complete)
Missions = 8500
24520 - 8500 = 16020
Wins = 160
16020/160 = 100,125 :odd:

I think it would be 100.1 :)

Yeah, you only get 200 points possible per race. If you have 100 for a race then the only way to gain more is to get above 100. Once you reach 200, you don't get any more.

16,020/160=100.125 (what we're used to in the U.S.) or 100,125 in other parts of the world, Germany for sure, and apparently Sweden as well.
It's the old decimal point versus comma thing.:)

👍 I learned something new today.

By the original formula:

(71,400-7750)/999 = 63.7

By deadboy's formula:
(71,400-7750)/448 = 142.1

Yeah... I like that much better :sly:

The first formula is like remembering that one bad year in college and what it did to my overall GPA :lol:

Given that very few people know exactly how many events they have completed it would be simpler to use % complete to calculate a-spec average. I am making a few assumptions about the Family Cup that could be wrong - it does not count towards % complete but does add to a-spec total.

So...
Assuming you have competed in the Family Cup (if you haven't then do so - it's the easiest 200 points you will get)

There are 522 + 34 = 556 events that contribute to % complete.
Each event is worth 100/556 = 0.18%
So number of events completed (C) = %complete/0.18 - missions + family cup

eg. I am 39.7% complete and have done 30 missions so 39.7/0.18 - 30 + 1 = 192

Average a-spec is equal to (total a-spec - mission a-spec)/number of events

eg. 30 missions = 7500; (31835-7500)/192 = 127 👍

Or, to put it another way:

If

A = total a-spec points
M = number of missions and
P = percent complete

Then

Average a-spec = (A-250M)/(P/0.18-M+1)

My A-Spec races are usually around 100ish, and my Rally races lately have all been around 170-180 A-Spec races, since i've been playing around with different cars to use in the hard rally races. Won alot, lost alot, stupid Impreza rally car. :ouch: :grumpy:

not at home to look but I'd say roughly somewhere in the 70s... it seems that Most of my races are between 65 and 125... and moslty around the 70s
