So what are your hobbies?? Mine are mainly remotely control cars and PS2

I'm into nitro r/c trucks like this one. It's powered by a small engine.

The engine in this truck is 2.5cc (.15ci) and makes aproximately 1.5-2 hp. It runs on nitro methane and propeles the 1:10 scale truck to 40+ mph in less than 5 seconds. It has a 2-speed transmission with reverse and is 4WD. If this were a real truck, it would...
go over 400 mph jump 80 feet in the air (or higher) weigh only 90 lbs, and be 195 inches long.

You can buy cars and soup them up to do 150 mph, but that's with serious mods.

So..what are your hobbies???? :D

I was hoping to get into Electric RC racing but $$ got in the way. But I do like a model every now and then. The last model I made was a A-10 Warthog, I cant remember the scale, it was 30cm long though.....

My hobbies? Well, I run a website which features a Fantasy F1 competition. I'm heavily into photography. I like to cook and eat. And I have a Kyosho GP Landmax 1/8 scale nitro-fuelled r/c car with a Subaru Impreza body.

I bought one of them Dickson(or something) RC cars out of Exoticar...It's a BMW X5. Drove good, had a limited slip AWD system, and looked great...went about 20 I guess(that's fast enough for me, it was only $70).
This is it, but mine's greenish:

(I took the front guard off while driving without stuff to hit, and I also had a set of low profile tires, and snow tires(cause it was last november when I got it, and it drove exellent in the snow))
Didn't do anything else.

Then one day I'm driving it in the basement...in our landry area, the drain is about 3 ft from the wall, so there's a big slope up. So what better place then to test the AWD system then on this smooth concrete with a little water and later some Spray and wash(super slick). On this slope, it's not just a flat up, it's kinda got small divits and such. So I'm driving it up this hill, it's going up fine. Do it a couple more times, and I see smoke coming out of the front wheel wells and under the hood where it meets the windsheild. So I'm thinking "Damn alright I'll let it cool down for a bit". So I did. Then I started it up again, and no forward, just reverse and steering. Fried one of the resisters or whatnot. Me and my bro took it apart, but we couldn't find the one that fried.

Now it's sitting downstairs in a box in peices. A waste of money, but I'll fix it eventually.

My hobbies are Mazda stuff(duh), PS2, cycling, computer stuff, TV, hooking stuff up(like an entertainment system), being lazy, and 1:18 scale model cars(I have over 20, mostly Maisto cause I like the suspension and a lot of the parts are interchangeable, and most "modded" with low profile tires, exaust tips(made from my dad's broken RX-7 antenna, so there's like 5 different sizes, and I cut them with a small pipe cutter), some electrical wires under the hood(gives it that modded look), and most of the time, just for fun, a nitrous bottle(a capacitor in my case)with a wire(like the pipe work)running from the trunk, through the interior(usually goes under the back seat, and next to the passenger seat sorta underneath it), up behind the dash, up onto the engine and then "connected" down again. Looks nice. Some also have major work like engine swaps.).

Dude ...

i really wish i had a nitro R/C...had my eye on this touring Accord for a while, but then i bought a Palm, and there's the $$ issue...

- i run a website (look real hard, it's somewhere below this post!),
- graphic design,
- i go to (cirticize) movies a lot,
- basketball (almost...almost...),
- video games,
- :gtp:.

ok...here's mine (electric).
it's a 2001 Coupe (candyapple red), and it no longer has reverse, nor will it push 12mph. i smacked a homemeade turbo on it (which was basically another battery / chip / resistor combo connected in parallel to the existing motor, which was also upgraded to push 17mph), and drove it up the hill in front of our driveway, which is around an 4% grade. as soon as it hit 15mph (fast for an electric, eh?) i hit the turbo button and white smoke statred coming out of every orifice the thing had. i immediately opened it up and diagnosed: the 9.6v battery was half-melted, the turbo resistors were nowhere to be seen (the motor was / is still ok), part of the power delivery from the original battery had solder all over it, and the intake tube my friend had mounted (i designed) had melted the latter centimeter of itself to the motor mount. i tried to fix the original chip thing, but couldn't, so now it's virtually useless (except as a model). i took the intake, filter, and turbo off, but left the muffler i Dremeled out of an old CBR antenna on, just for looks (lower left corner, in front of the unnecessary wheelie bar).

my friend and i have a 1984 Corvette (1:32, or something; chrome with black racing stripes) that we put a model rocket engine on (didn't go more than 10 feet), which has been our project car until recently, when school started and he got cat hair in the gearbox.

- R/C cars/planes (just flew my first r/c plane today.. that crap is hard!!!)
- GIRLS! mwahha.
- Computers/Internet

Um, thats all i can think of right now...

RC cars are cool.....
Something fun to do with them: Take a hamster, get an RC car that has a compartment in the body, and put a hamster in it, but be sure not to run in to walls hard! Can anybody say "Braiin dead hamster"?
i have an rc car that goes 1200 ft. per minute, is 4wd, and looks great, i would put up a picture right now, but i'm to darn lazy to take one, and j2s RC car looks better in real life, and something that sucks about not having reverse isthe braking issue, no brakes=not good

I also enjoy playing GT-GT2-GT3 (of course)
and being on :gtp:

um....GTA's, GT's, THPS's, vid games in general....brought up on vid games, edumacated on vid games and simpsons....movies, driving, dreaming about what to do to my next car...Fred knows :D:shades: thats it man

Parrots. My wife and I have 9 living with us. From love birds to macaws. They take up most of my time and when I'm not teaching and learning from them, I'm playing GT3.

The wife tried to get me into RC cars, as we've got an indoor and outdoor track 2 miles from our house. But dumping $300+ dollars into a compeitive car seemed to expensive. Besides, it would take away from my GT3 time.

The wife's hobbies are fish tanks. We've got 6 of them in the house, and she wants 3 more. Granted they are all small, but she enjoys them. When we get into a permanent place, she wants a 150 gallon bow front Reef tank.

My hobbie is Lacrosse (which is a sport). I also like to play some decent RPGs on my PS2.

My sis has always liked birds of any kind. When she was ten, she had 4 parakeets. Then she got about 4 more and a bigger cage. When they all died, we bought a Cockatiel. Right now he's about 10 months old and he has what the vet calls "Cockatiel Brat Syndrome" because we spoil him. My sis also bought a cat at the same time. Pika (name of the Cockatiel) seems to think that the cat is a friend, which is okay because the cat is scared to death of Pika. Anyways, the point of that paragraph was that my sis has always been in to animals, and that got me into them too.
