Nice job man! Is there really his helmet on GT4 or did you photoshopped it?

Thanks bro!!!!! It's photoshop, I really wish you could customize the helmets + license plates in GT4.

edit: by the way, "Salve o Tricolor Paulista! Amado clube brazileiro,..."

I do pay full respect to the great Ayrton but just one question? What does s2000's have anything to do with senna? Or are u just paying tribute to him cus next week is the san marino GP?

you got it... that + the helmet on the shots (Senna 1993 GP helmet color scheme) + Honda itself that was extremely influenced by him on the early 90's (as he was one of the Maclaren-Honda drivers)...also the first NSX prototype for example was first tested by him...and he had a lot to do with the final product too...

(nothing particular with the S2000) it just happened to be the car I was drifting with last night:D... then I saw on TV about the GP and remembered how downhill F1 has been going since May 1st 1994...

yuo mean how good it was until Bernie came along and ****** it up?

Bernie came along in the early 80's and was team owner at Brabham before that. He also drove a race or two in the 50's or 60's I think...or is that Chapman. Bernie is the money man and promoter. Max Mosely and FIArrari are the folks that have F1 the way it is today.

very nice 👍
of course now you'll have to win an F1 car car or two :D

[font=&quot]That was my original plan; to use the PD F1 car... then I realized I don't have one yet!:D I play mostly on weekends, my setup is so loud, I wouldn't be surprise if the whole neighborhood can feel the track surface at the Nurb!! I play late at night when I back home, but without all the sound, it's not the same. + I spend too much time trying to get all license golds, I'll get there pretty soon now:scared:,hopefully.

Nice setup! Changed the GT logo for a BMW one I see. 👍

Thanks! I'm so used to my DFP, everytime I get on my car now, I wish the wheel was smaller.

p.s. how was the Libertadores game yesterday?

Senna isn't the best because he died young and while he was still racing, He was highly competitive while driving inferior cars, he was the one that drove in the rain like no one else; everytime it would start to rain he would be the one setting the pace, taking the car to a new limit (running seconds bellow his opponents). He was the driver that has the highest amount of victories in Monaco by far and still has one of the best win/race and pole/race ratios. Senna was a champion when F1 was a driver's race and not a high technology computer/tire competition. Nowadays drivers are more like passengers...

I had the privilege of watching Senna three times; all of them in Interlagos, Brazil. Including his very last race in his home country, racing for the Williams team. But by far, the best race I've seen in person was his victory in 1993 showing the favorite with the much better car, Alan Prost, who was the best driver. After the race we all (on the crowd) made our way into the track... it was great!

I highly respect your opinions though!!!

Jim Clarke was a great driver and so was Juan-Manuel Fangio!👍

As I do yours. I've read a couple of books on Senna. He was the most intense and dedicated driver I've ever seen or read about.

For the record, Ronnie Peterson is my favourite driver ever. Shame how some of the most exciting drivers in F1 were killed on the track way before their time. :(

Ronnie had a couple of WDC's in him. He was always in the wrong/right place at the wrong time.

I guess now would be good...

I've had this video on my computer for exactly one year as of today. I was mostly waiting until I had a good host for it because it's rather large, but I was also waiting for the right time to post it as well. Seems as if this thread is the perfect opportunity for it, so here it goes:

This is the F1 Decade episode covering the San Marino Grand Prix of 1994 at Imola.

WMV file / 223MB / 44m38s / right click, save as / DO NOT STREAM! / you're welcome. ;)

Yeah I think so. I would say that a part of F1 died with him.

Indeed, it was the end of an era. With Mansell, Prost and Piquet all retiring around the same time, that 80's era finally died with Senna. A new era approached...

If anything has killed F1 it's the cheating(Adalaide 94/Jerez 97), the lack of punishment, dirty driving becoming acceptable, the stupid rule changes almost every year, Herman Tilke, race fixing, silly team orders, Ferrari dominance and the FIA favouring a certain Italian team;). The new millenium has been a disaster. This year is looking good but how long will it last?
