Please for the love of god tell me the cars that can win these. I've tried nearly every car in my garage to no avail. I have a 40 bob with the orange arrow and a 37 with a blue. They both just casually stroll behind a guy for like 10 seconds before passing like an old man.

These are so annoying, and I just want to get these out of the way. So somebody recommend some good cars for these. Pretty please?

I think mine are a Toyota FT86 concept for the 400s (possibly needs a slight detune) and the Honda HSC for the 500s. Good luck

De-tune some decent cars to spec & then head butt Bob the whole way through. That's what I did. Wasn't difficult, but wasn't fun.

If your only goal is to win, just take a GT300 car and detune it for the 500pp.

ALL of these?
For me, car/tune needed varies by track and driver style used. Also, which cars have you tried and what were the tunes/settings? I will add the cars I used as well as the tunes as I retrieve them. It may take a few days.

An Elise 111R with full weight reduction, 20 rear aero, and all other upgrades (except turbo and some power upgrades) walks all over every AI lineup @ 500pp.
Set top speed to 140 - 170 depending on the track. After that it's a case of giving him a pace up at the start and he'll be fine.

All of them. My Bobs do pretty well in my 2J for the 650pp but for the rest I have no luck.

I've tried almost every qualified car in my garage, which includes most of the cars already posted here. As for tunes/upgrades, I add extra parts when needed but leave the actual tune settings alone. I might adjust the transmission a bit but that's about it. I don't know much about tuning.

Try put on search 400pp 500pp I bet you find answer :)

Already did, didn't come up with anything useful.

I don't know much about tuning.

I started on a blank slate myself. If you need any of my tunes, I can PM specifics. I'm not an expert but these are the cars I used and tuned them myself. Generally, with exceptions, I don't use cars prone to understeer for Bob. However, there are very few cars in GT5 I have found which Bob won't drive well when given a proper tune. I never use a driver if he has an orange arrow unless he is 10-15 levels above other bobs(rare).

400pp
500pp

Here you go :)
And there is all you need....
I said I didn't come up with anything useful because they all say the same cars, which I can't win in. I'm not sure if my drivers are just too incoherent to drive, or what. But I'm having no luck at all.

Anything would help. I just want to get them done and over with. And like I said my 40 Bob has an orange arrow but the rest are all 37-35 with blue/green arrows. I'm afraid to level them anymore because they might get an orange arrow too. That's what happened to my 40.

Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5 – 16 Evolution II ’91 always works for 400pp for me.

I think for 500pp I used an Evora or Elise.

If you fully modify a vw golf gti it'll be at 500 pp

I have 2 Suzuki GSX-R concepts my Bob uses for those 2, rarely needs prodding.

through boredom mainly i'm running a bspec seasonal championship across the events (just doing seasonal 1 both 500's now then this part is complete)

can't help with 400 yet but this should give you an idea of 500pp (all are fully tuned then detuned with a little ballast and/or engine power limitation) and only coached at the start of the race, my rule was they must win the race unless they got a good time and the 1/2 was the series 1 and nsx that had pushed each other too far so couldn't be caught without coaching)

L40 BOB used

400 I used a Focus ST, 500 used a Ruf CTR2. Still have to make some inputs to Bob's driving style, but win all of the 400/500pp events with these.

I used the Opel Speedster Turbo '00
Motor 84,7 % power
All the rest standard

Give this a try for 500. If your Bob can't win in this delete him.

For 400PP I haven't posted a tune but I use the TF160 for easy wins. Bobs seem to like MR cars.

I used a detuned Civic Type R '97 (EK) to win the 400PP B-specs with a lv 0 Bob (used the online challenges to level four of them from 0-10 in one race each, pretty nifty); all of them won by a fair margin.
The BMW M3 CSL will completely dominate the 500PP races, even with one of the newly minted lv 10 drivers behind the wheel.

Regards

for the 400pp i've downloaded the new scion fr 12 , thats avaiable for free on playstation store, absolutely awesome, didn't lose yet:)

Cheap fix is S13 modded up to 400 - 500 pp, JDM 0/

On a side note, how great is it that they have not had an actual B-Spec seasonal for ages?

👍
