i tried my zonda r with 910hp, and it was 4th in the first race and only 2secs behind but it was on the edge the whole time. Anyone get this with Bspec yet? If so, with what car? I'd prefer not to have to grind for a race car until i unlock the american extreme races, but if i have to, will anything for around 1,000,000cr get it done? Thanks.

PS. I'm trying the furai now, update in 10 laps!

I let Bob drive the Minolta which you can get in Like the wind a-spec

My aspec isn't that high(trying to find a g27) so thats not gonna help. Right now he's got a good lead, 7 laps in.

I ran the Furai first with racing hard tires(oops) and he did about the same as the Zonda R. Then i switched to racing medium, added some more camber and downforce, tweaked the diff, and i've been running him hot the whole race with no spin outs. We'll see how it goes, its just the first race.

A-Spec I used the Zonda R, B-Spec I used the Minolta.

Your Zonda is down on HP a good bit. Max is more like 956. Probably need an oil change. If he's close that may be the difference. Not sure that car is fast enough though. I had to drive pretty well to win in A-Spec using it, and I get better tires.

I can't believe this little mazda, he's almost done the second race with a nice lead. I'm even more impressed that it seems most people had to use a race car! Go Bob!

Just did an oil change. But there's a lot of miles on it so maybe it needs a rebuild. Meh, not worth the cash imo.

Mine has almost 2000 hard miles on it and still shows 956. Did you put all the upgrades? It can take an Engine stage 3 I believe, and possibly a turbo.

Installed both today. Perhaps the modified engine needs to be broken in just like new, so it will keep going up.

I did the Zonda R this morning, 956hp, 4th place as well.

Need to get to 20 to do Like the Wind in A-spec tonight.

From a similar thread back in December:

I just completed this with the Formula GT when I woke up this morning. I just started each race and walked away, came back and started the next one.

In the meantime I managed to:
*Clean my room
*Take a shower
*Make breakfast for my girlfriend and myself
*Pay bills
*Finish wrapping gifts

It was a productive morning. :sly:

Probably a really stupid question......buy what kind of car is the "Minolta"? Is that the actual brand......or.....is that the nickname people use for it because Minolta is the main company who sponsors the racecar? Maybe another way to ask my question.....is there a Minolta car dealership where I could buy one if I really wanted to?

It is prize car for winning Like The Wind event.
And it is used car so u can't buy in it new dealership.
Full name is Toyota Minolta 88C-V '89 (S)

This 👍

Minolta is just the primary sponsor. The car is a Toyota 88C-V.

Same here again.

Probably some of the most fun B-Spec I've done, Bob had really good battles against the 787B and the Speed 8.
