Hi all
i prefer to drive with the music off and have gone into the music library and turned off race BGM. This worked fine whilst I was wqorking my way through A-spec stuff.

But more recently I have been spending far more time doing B-Spec races and also the weekly online races, and I cannot seem to get rid of the BGM.

Can anybody tell me how to get rid of it. If I hear Feeder one more time I may just snap

Turn it off in the options...

When you turn off race BGM it should do it for all races, regardless of what they are

I turned music off by going into my music library where you can select playlists for Menu, Race and Slideshow. I made sure all of the race tunes were deselected and had no problems with it in offline A-spec.

I must have trawled through options hundreds of times but cannot find music control in there. Am I just being really stupid? Do you mean the main options bit where you can set up steering wheels or how many arcade laps etc??

PROTIP: You can scroll a couple of the menu "rows" to the right, not just up and down.

It seems easy to not notice for some reason, but audio is in there. Race and menu music is separate. You can also enable custom BGM, but no matter what you do, the only way to turn off the stupid kids blabbering before the races is to turn off all menu music. Thanks PD.

I cannot believe I have owned this game since launch date, been through that menu so many times and I missed the fact that you can scroll to the left in the hardware section!

Thanks for your help. I can now hear the spitfiresque growl of my Aston V12 in all its glory as Bob gives her some right foot action.

Thanks
