I've had an idea for tuning battles (I'm not sure if this should go in the online racing forum, if so, mods please move)

The rules of the game are; a car is designated and will always have full customisable suspension, gearbox, spoiler, etc. The cars will have a set horsepower or engine upgrade type, and set tyres.

It is then down to see who is the best at tuning. See who can adjust the gears and suspension to best suit a track.

The car then does 10 laps around a designated track on b-spec on a certain setting, and the fastest lap is recorded.

Some interesting tuning battles could arise.

What do you guys think?
 
This is a good idea but the b-spec drivers are diferent even at the same level, a better idea is to post the settings and see who can get the best times.

Or a pool to choose the best setup.

And we could make a thread with the best settings! :)
 
does a higher number of b-spec points make him better?
 
I think there is still a bit of discussion on this but it does seem that way.
 
Would you be able to "control" your B-spec dude whilst he's driving... or would it be just on 3 or something?

And I take it you mean only running on free run on the tracks? Or would you like opposition too?
