B spec bob and nascar

How do you get b spec bob to win in nascar if you cant modify the nascars???
Bob just keeps melting the tires

Full downforce every track except Daytona oval, tranny at 300 kmh on road courses, 350 kmh on Indy and Daytona. He should be in the lead by lap 3 at the latest with those settings.
