B-spec Bob Driving School?

I need to send Bob back to driving school. That said, I have to admit I like the way he is driving now. Oh sure, sometimes he goes off the track and spins the car when the tires are really worn down but as long as you slow him down a little bit he is fine. The thing that is getting me is that whenever he is on a straight and trying to pass someone he rear ends them at full speed. Is there a way to get him to stop this or is this something he learns as he goes on.

Bob is at a little over 4k B-spec points but his battle stat is the lowest of the other three stats and I am thinking that is why he rear ends everyone but not sure.

Any ideas?
 
Bob still does that occasionally and I have over 8000 points. Simply put, any ai car, even user assisted Bob, is terribly programmed, meaning A-spec Awesome has to drive in most races.
 
Through my minimal use of B-spec Bob, it seems that the higher the HP, the worse he does. Also, if you setup the car for not using driving aids, Bob drives worse than with aids on. One last thing, Bob is horrible at driving excessively powerful hybrids, he will crash/spin-out every hard turn.
 
He still does it at 10,000 points. The greater the speed differential between the B-Spec driver's speed and the speed of the car he's overtaking, the more likely he is to ram it. He does get a little better as the points go up, but generally you don't see much of an improvement until his points reach about 8000 or so.

Ah...he costed me lots of race victories. The best, in any enduro race, start with A spec, build a good lead, then hand it over to Bob.

However, you left out the final part: In any enduro race, start with A spec, build a good lead, then hand it over to Bob.....watch Bob.....watch Bob lose your lead.....call Bob back into the pits.....remove Bob from car.....get behind the wheel yourself and chase down the AI cars before they drive off into the distance!!:D
