I've noticed that, when my B-spec driver (level 31) goes off the track and gets turned around, he waits for the entire pack to pass him before getting off of the grass and rejoining the race. Is this normal behavior? Why does he do this? How can I make him stop doing it?

Did you miss this thread? It was designed to clean up the B-Spec section and answer any questions/ queries you have about B-Spec.

Sadly, yes, I did miss that thread, even after doing a search (even via Google). Even seeing it in the list, I didn't think that it would be relevant to my question, hence the existence of this thread.

If you was to ask you're question there you'd find you'll get a good answer. The people who have been using that thread know a lot about B-Spec.

To answer your question I think that the drivers are programmed to wait for the field to pass them before rejoining the tracks so as to avoid accidents, just like would happen in real world racing.

Would you come speeding back onto the track in the path of oncoming cars?

Hope this helps. ;)

Real racing drivers do that too, otherwise they get a penalty/black flag for dangerous driving or a complete crash on high speed.

I guarantee you many drivers would if it meant causing the other cars to wreck.:sly::dopey:

My memory serving me rightly, since the implementation of improvement of the computer's logical intellects was proceeded(I've heard the minds of B-spec racers had been trained since GT5P), B-spec bobs are programmed to act like that in order to avoid collision against other competitors joining the entire race as if they were electronic robots with judicious thoughts - well adopted to actual regulations applied in real racing, making them seem to lack their aggressiveness on the other hand.

If that's true, how come a Camaro's rear bumper came half off from my Bob ramming it to oblivion?

ha, yea b-spec drivers always do that. I think it's supposed to be intentional, because it's as someone said, it's for safety reasons (in real life).

However, when my Bspec bob is racing, he's not afraid to sideswipe the other AI and push them out of the way during a turn :D.

Because they don't compensate for closing speeds. Same reason why all my bobs in my x2010 ran every car off the road at least once at the tsukuba 9 hr.
