Im Level 16 in B-spec and had 2 guys. one at 16 and the other I never used but I noticed tonight that the lvl 0 guy is gaining experience. So I got 2 new guys for a total of 4 and wouldn't you know it... They are learning from B-Spec bob 1. He still sucks but this is good news.

I found an easy way to get only excellent b-spec drivers. Of course be picky about their preliminary skill levels. After going with a new driver, start his or her career off at ground level, yep, Sunday cup. In the first race get in the cockpit view or bumper cam view. Now you will know from race 1 if you like his or her style and skills. You will just recognize a great driver (diamond in the rough, if you will) when you see them perform in that first race. Most will not be up to your standards. This is no problem. You just tell them something like this after the race.
"Well son I really appreciate you coming down to the Autumn Ring today to try out for the team...But maybe racing just aint your thing son. any way,
I 'm sorry you just didn't make the grade.
I do need a tire scrubber though. Interested?"
Then you retire them and try another. This works great, no one gets feelings hurt and you get only winners!
PS always let them use a car from the "typical entrants/car list" at the event page.
Then take the good driver through the season, and keep in mind any races they don't win. Make em win all the beginner and amateur races before they go pro. By then they will be killer!!! It works and is very fun too.:dopey::):sly: <these are my drivers
