B Spec crashes on 9hr Endurance

The last 2 nights I have left the 9 hr endurance races running overnight. When I look in the morning the cars have slowed down like they have finished but nothing happens. They just continually drive around the circuit. I can not use the joypad either. (Just the PS button to quit the game).

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?
