B-spec driver won't stop auto pitting?

Why am i having this problem? I decided to pit on lap 8 of a 14 lap race, i got new tyres then set off again. The yellow p icon was still on so i turned it off using cancel pit button, but somewhere into the next lap the yellow p comes back on again and the car gets auto pitted. I cancel it again but yet again it comes on again every lap. on the penultimate lap i decided to let it pit again without cancelling it, it pitted for tyres and then didn't stop on the next lap, but the race was finishing anyway. Looks like a bug. My driver was totally empty of mental and physical strength maybe they auto pit to change drivers on endurance races? But this wasn't an endurance race and there was no option to change drivers, so he kept coming into pit because of that?

This has happened to me as well. In some races I have changes the tires before the start of the race and it appears to cause this. If Bob isn't running what the game considers the 'correct' tire he will keep trying to pit. I'm not 100% sure about this by the way.

It happened to me in a Formula GT race.
I started on full rains, the field on slicks.
By the time they came in, I was 3/4 of a lap in the lead.
With 10 laps to go, I was not paying attention, and he pitted
for intermediates as well as the rest of the field.
The rain stopped, but the track was still wet.
I pitted him the next lap, and went back to full rains.
Proceeded to run down and pass the cars that got by him.
Running 3 seconds faster a lap than anyone else.
He keep on trying to pit to put the intermediates back on.
I know this because I looked in Pit Strategy and that's what was listed .

Yep eveytime I have saw him want to pit it was because he was unhappy with the tire choice. Seems to be a bug related to weather races and wet tires.

Someone started a thread on this earlier but I can't find It. They was on an endurance race then pitted, Bob hit the wall, Went back 15feet then fuelled up, Acquired new rubber, Sat In the pits for a further 15 seconds then off he went only to want to pit every lap after that. I believe this happened 1 In 4 times.

What level was the pit strength meter? it should be 0.

I had the pit strength to maximum, 90 i believe. I thought that meant how hard the driver pushes on the entry and exit of the pits but i was just guessing.
Does it mean how often he will pit? If that is true it is still bugged as he had fresh tyres (no option for different tyres as it was a dry fixed race) but still pitted on the next lap and repeat..
Something is definitely wrong.

If you had the "Pit Strength" to 90, and your driver was at zero, I believe this is why he was pitting. When they run out of physical and/or mental strength, they will pit as far as I know, even if it's a single-driver race. And if you set the Pit Strength too high, they'll pit whenever they fall below that, I think.

(Note: I haven't gotten to this point yet, but the above is based on what I've read here in the forums and in the manual.)

I think it is a bug in the tire settings for some cars. I have noticed that if I enter the Minolta in the Dream car race and it is raining, I put on Rain tires and Bob wants to pit. If I cancel he will want to pit the next lap. If I let him have hard tires he will complete the race without asking to pit.

If on the other hand I enter him with the FGT in the same race with rain tires he will complete the race and if I start him with other tires he will want to pit and get rain tires if it is raining. Tires is the only instance where I have saw him want to pit over and over again.

The AI always pits after the first lap on these weather races as well, except in the FGT then they do not.

I'm having this problem now in the FGT race. It's rainning and I send him out on rain tires and he doesn't like it and wants to pit every lap. Very stupid, only thing I can do is hit the no pit button every lap. Very annoying and honestly can't believe the game was released with an issue like this

Click the "Pit Strategy" button, at the top you see it says "Auto Pit Stop Strategy"

Set "Pit-in Strength Level" to OFF and what do you know, problem solved 👍

wrong, mine is always off. I checked this a couple of times, bob still always wanted to pit

Weird. I put a level 0 Bob in a 2 lap race around the ring, on comfort soft when max tyre was sport soft. He was mentally and physically drained after half a lap. Completed both laps without even thinking of the pits.

This issue is specific to the FGT races in "weather".

It means he will pit as soon as physical strength drops below 90%...

I'm getting this on the Suzuka endurance race. He can't decide between Rain or Intermediate, and keeps changing.

UPDATE: He keeps wanting to go to rain tyres now, when on intermediates he's 10 seconds faster. Really annoying.
