Just completed an experiment on the Dream championship Indy oval. I picked my most experienced driver lvl 35 and 166/190 wins, he also has a very cold personality. I gave him the x2010 and at the start gave him the overtake command. This was the only command I have him the while race. His fastest lap was 34.023 and a race time of 14:50.041.

My second driver is lvl 30 and 16/16 wins. This time his personality is very hot. I also gave him the x2010 and issued the overtake command at the start and left him to it. His fastest lap was 34.896 and a race time of 15:22.577.

I will have to repeat this when he is lvl 35, but is 5 levels really worth 8/10's of a second. May be not but the 32 second race time over 22 laps considering the short lap time is maybe it is.

Half a minute can be quite a lot in racing and 0.8 seconds off a lap time is quite good too but then again I haven't done this as I'm not very far in B-Spec so I don't know if it really matters because your probably winning by far anyway.

I've noticed that even in the X2010, my guy can take 5 seconds to get out of the pack and into the lead, or maybe 20 seconds. You would think the lap times would be more comparable though, considering they should have had a least a few clean laps each with no one ahead of them. I don't know; maybe when they did their clean laps one had his mood meter in the red and the other was quite cool and going nice and slow. It all depends on how long they were stuck in traffic beforehand.

The only clear laps were the first 3 after that traffic was a problem. The cool headed driver was more ruthless through traffic.
