Afternoon,

I've got a fully modified Gallardo and the best i've managed was 3rd on this. I even lowered the gear ratio to give it more acceleration for the start, still no good. Is my driver just not good enough yet (Level 17) or is there something I should be doing to the setup of the car to get my driver to win this race?

Don't overpower the car. It's a tight track, the power is going to either be wasted or cause your driver to lose control over it.
Weight reduction, soft sports tyres and a few extra BHP is all you should need.

My driver was at level 14 or something, but he had that blue, upward arrow next to his portrait, you shpuld keep an eye on that for your driver as well.

Just last night i used this race to level up my b-spec bob from level 18 to 19 because it was easy money.

If you have a fully tuned Gallardo, then i don´t know what wrong commands you are giving.

Make sure you have a wing and full downforce, and also change the LSD settings to 60 so it makes it easier for b-spec to drive.

Also, lower the height, increase the roll bars to 7 and there´s not much more to tweak.

I can get my driver to run 1´14 constantly (still six seconds slower then me, but good for b-spec).

As soon as i start i tell him to overtake, and before the end of the first lap he´s in first. From that point just make sure he´s not too cool otherwise he will ran very slow. I tell him to pace up a lot in order to run those 1´14-1´15 laps.

Hope it helps.

Hmmm, he's struggling with it and has a blue arrow up. 2nd three times in a row.

Ive done all the mods, and he doesnt seem to lose control. Mayve i'll muck about reducing the bhp down to see if that improves thing. I already have the tyres im allowed for that race.

fasj6418 - I havent played with the LSD before. When you say lower it to 60 what do you mean? When I go into modify this the options are

10 - Initial Torque - 10
40 - Acceleratiion Senisitivity - 40
20 - Braking sensitivity - 20

I had the aerodynamic mods on the Gallardo aswell. Its a tight track, so you can't really overpower the AI. You should be able to win by overtaking 1-2 cars per lap. It only gets easier as Bob gains experience. Set the power distributer to 80% on the rear wheels, but felt like an Audi anyway the two times I drove it myself..

All I did was lower the car right down and kept telling him to increase pace and he's now 1st after 6 laps with 5 left. I didnt think they drove better when they were in the red, but its certainly helped. Fingers crossed he can hold it till the end.

Thanks chaps.

Set the drive bias to 40-60. Reduce weight, keep power at 600. Soft slicks. Beats it easily. It also helps my guy is level 19.

He's just won it easily. Best lap was 1.15.33. Just kept telling him to get a move on, didnt change any settings other that lowering the car.

10 - Initial Torque - 10
40 - Acceleratiion Senisitivity - 40
20 - Braking sensitivity - 20

Am I supposed to change all of these to 60 so its easier for the driver? Also i've no idea what you mean by change the bias to 40-60, sorry. Complete newbie!

You can buy a torque distributor on 4WD cars, and set the amount of power the front and rear tyres get. I used 80-20 to make the car oversteer, but you'd probably be better off with 40-60 like paskowitz is saying.

Braking sensitivity is not that huge, but the first two you should put at 60 (increase in this case).

Also, don´t be afraid to drive the b-spec guy a bit on the red bar. If it´s all the way cool (the blue side), he will be very slow.

Thanks alot paskowitz. That was the first time that I changed the LSD. He won with minimal commands. And he was only level 11.

They don't particularly drive better when the arrow is in the red. The arrow is more to do with the drivers mental state, if anyone's ever done sport phycology they will know that it's to do with the drivers arousal level (dirty jokes aside :sly: ). When you look at their driver profile where the arrow is on that blue/red scale is their zone of optimal performance, or the point at which they perform best. futher into the red will yes increase their speed but also makes them drive more eratically and increases the likelyhood of the driver making a mistake. Further into the blue the driver is less likely to make mistakes but they brake earlier and accelerate later.

I'm pretty sure that a 17 level Bob can't handle an 800HP monster. You need at least 30lvl Bob to do it, or a very fast 25 or above. 👍

All the above are true IF you race your Bob on the same tires as your opponents...
