I have a ZR1 09, can I win with this on both tracks in the American challenge? If so can you tell me what adjusts I need to make before i try again. If I can't win with this car, what car do I need? I have about 1.4 million.

thanks in advance :)

Just a few Idea's (may Work may not)

Gear for 260 in case Bob need to Draft Pass

Brakes set at 1 front 1 rear to stop him slowing down too much

As much Power Upgrades as the Car can Take

Sit there and Nag the Pleb all the way through the Races

Pray

260 gear max speed?

My Bob had quite some trouble winning the Extreme American Challenge with a racemodded ZR-1, at least on Laguna Seca. Pure luck he won on his, dunno, third or fourth attempt.

If your Z06 is racemodded, it might work. Without the RM? Same chance as a snowball in hell.

Sorry for the stupid q but is RM all tuned up, turbo engine etc etc?

The racing modification is an option available at GT Auto, effectively turning your 'Vette into a race car. It removes a lot of weight (as in, makes the car lighter then adding the weight reduction one by one). It also adds all of the drivetrain upgrades. You just have to add the engine tuning and tyres. Also, this adds pretty good levels of downforce.

Overall, RM --> Best performance out of your car.

It's only available for a few selected cars, though. The Corvette ZR-1 and Z06 (C6 generation) are among them, though.

My Bob's are just terrible in that series in my Z06 RM...I don't get it really I have messed with my gears, downforce but my Bobs are just useless here. Them getting bronze in those 2 races is like pulling teeth...

On Indy it is the worst as no matter how I set them up be it hot or cold they are ALWAYS braking earlier than the AI in the corners. So even if I manage to get them out front on a straight they just lose it on the next corner. Needless to say they are beating the crap outta my poor Z06's rear as they end up with another AI smacking into them at almost every corner...

so far so good guys!:)

Indy 1st now onto Laguna Seca, any tips?

The only car that's a lot of trouble on Laguna Seca is the 2J Race Car. If you get a grid where it's behind your Bob, it's going to be a peace of cake. Otherwise, it's mostly luck.

This challenge is absolutely killing me. No matter which car I give this useless guy (level 20), he finds his ways to mess it up.

With my Corvette Z06 RM he comes in dead last in Laguna Seca, no chance in Indy also

With the NASCAR he will eventually manage a whopping 5th or 6th in both races no matter what setup i give him

A maxed out Cadillac Cien with 991 horse powers isn't enough for Indy either as he's to stupid to pass the Ford GTs, Chaparral 2Js and even the freaking Viper GTS-R - he came in 7th despite me begging him to overtake the entire race!

The Cadillac actually got the win in Laguna Seca now - still it seems like B-Spec is deliberately screwing me on ovals - I don't know which car to take to let him win.

Okay this is seriously doing my head in!!

I finally said screw it and maxed out my Z06 RM, put my hottest, highest level driver in the car and just beat on him the whole race.

I really think there is a scripting thing going on here as I tried it just before with my Ford GT LM Spec II and it seems no matter what on lap 18 he decides to let the draft pack of GT's past him and no matter what you tell him he just won't make any effort to pass them, brakes even earlier in the corners.

It seems to go down that way everytime no matter what car I throw at it.
With the Z06 I had him in the lead by lap 5 or so and managed to keep him there but again lap 18 he just lets the pack of GT's past and won't go after them...
Hell I even set the brake balance to zero but it still doesn't stop him from braking earlier than the AI in every corner...He just manages to hold the lead because they end up running up his arse and don't make the pass, of course until lap 18 where he decides he doesn't want to push anymore(yes he still has strength in both categories)

TOTALLY maddening!!
