B-spec forced pit stops?

Doing the 1000km Suzuka endurance atm, its raining and its stil lwet, yet every lap the game seems to try and force me to pit for dry tires, despite it still being slippery.

The other AI is spinning all over the place, defentily a pitted to early, yet when i cancel it it just pops up the next lap. Kind of beats the point of being the engineer if i have to cancel the pit stop every lap.

wtf?

EDIT: Now i have to sit and cancel it every lap for like 170 laps ffs...

I'm doing the Tsukuba 9H and it's always dry, but for some reason now towards the end of the race (final hour) he auto pits every lap!! (and the auto pit thing is off!) I'm using the Red Bull X1 and he'll still win by a huge margin, and I'm not really bothered because it will finish at the end of the 9th hour, it's not like the race will take longer because of this but it is very stupid! I wonder if it has anything to do with yesterday's update v1.05 as this has never happened before!
 
Try pitting for intermediates?

Edit: well miura's post complicates things maby it is a new bug?


I have had this problem at Luga Seca but bob was hitting the pit wall on pit entry and that was the problem, is anything like that happening to you?
 
Often when it is raining, the driver will pit to put on rain tires. Is that the case here? Have you let him pit to see? Just wondering.
