Im trying to do the Yaris B-Spec race in beginner series, and im using the Vitz U Uero sportback with 140hp but it is still driving terrible in b-spec.. why? i beat the a-spec with the same car but only 105hp around. :ouch:

Also, anyone know what car to use for Lightweight series?
And in proffessional mode, there is a ferari challenge and a lambo challenge, is there a way to win cars to beat those instead of buying a lambo AND ferrari for over 500,000 credits??

indeed it does in my opinion this is useless should of kept it in like the last game that was amazing but we all knew it was all too good and easy and they just had to change it to make life hell for us

The b-driver needs top cars to win at lower levels. A-spec earns you better cars and money, I found it better to wait with b until you have a lot better cars and money to upgrade them. Then b-spec is fun and easy...

Ya that makes a lot of sense, but the way this guy was driving, i dont think even if i fully customized it, it would beat it becaue the Vitz is already slow so the pick up will be slow no matter what and the driving was terrible, he stopped and waited for a car off roasd to get back on the road when it crashed.

Mine decided to drift around every corner. I lost by 2 seconds cuz he was being stupid.

I had a decent Yaris tuned up that I had used for the A-spec cup and I just couldn't get the guy to come close to winning while I owned the cup easily.

Checked the specs and the tires were still the comfort tires the car came with. Bought the highest sports I could get without going over the requirements and added an LSD for good measure and voila` my driver aced the cup, and that's without having to do any tweaking to power output.

For the Light weight Series i used a Clio V4, looks really good in blue and had HP in the 200s.

Unfortunately for the Make Races they are usually made specifically for you to buy the cars. No event gifts a Ferrari or a Lambo that can be used in them annoyingly. But if you got the Collectors addition you can use the Chrome Line Gallardo.
Otherwise i recommend buying the Italia 458 for the Ferrari(very aesthetic), and the Gallardo for the Lambo Challenge if you need it so that you have the car for the Gallardo Trophy event in the Expert Series.

I bought a Daihatsu Copen Active Top for the lightweight series, tuned it to double BHP than the opposition, and still my level 5 jerk P.Wolff manages to finish outside the podium consistently. It's such a bad game mode it's incredible.

vitz rs turbo 02 tuned i think i got mine used, copen active top tuned worked fine for me in the k car challenge. as per ferrari use a 599 fully tuned, i had a 458 fully tuned and it counldnt keep up with the enzos on the straights and at monza thats the point. get a gallardo fully tuned and make sure you put in a different trans. gallardo you can use in two one make races so it makes more since. and no you cannot win either italians as prize cars, it is a shame but once you're playing enough you shouldn't have trouble affording them. i would recommend doing as many special events as your a spec level will allow you to do in order for you to build up cash, much easier then repeating races. and they allow your a spec level to increase quicker. hope this helps

I did just watch mine for the first time in my Mazda just tootle around in 6th place...getting physically weaker every minute ... ha ha ... chump...

My Bob drives like an idiot most of the time, on the British Lightweights race at the Top Gear Test Track he ploughed right into the side of an Elan at the crossover point, sending himself and the Elan flying... Idiot.

The Vitz race was probably the most difficult one I've done so far, I had to spend a whole load of money on the car to make it competitive, and got barely anything (except XP) in return. I'm almost level 14 now, then hopefully the Zonda R will be mine...

Most difficult race for me was Monaco in Historic car cup, then Bob did an amazing last two laps passing three cars to take the win, was so proud!

Easy way to do the lightweight races in beginner level: buy a Suzuki Cappucino and race mod it. A few more mods and it'll be pushing out 115 bhp compared to the others' 65 bhp - no need to give any instructions, just leave the room for 5 minutes, come back, and Bob's done it!
