Personally, i set the marker to five, and watch the car. If it ends up going off on every corner, and messing everything up i put the marker down to four, and vice versa. Although B-Spec always messes up for me, and i end up coming fourth or something, so i always try to do it all myself now.
Depending on the car the pace of 3 or 4 is fine. To me it seems like Bob is late braking too much with 4 or 5, and obviously this is not good for corners that should be taken with late apex
Sometimes even 2 is fine if the car has low grip tires..
