Guys I've been stuck on the B-Spec NASCAR Championship ever since I got the game on the first day of its release. I am ****ing frustrated :banghead:, I have tried an incredible amount of settings and even one's suggested online. Is this **** even possible to win. Here's my biggest gripe, on Grand Valley if you're soft on the driver you'll never get any passes but if you're aggressive your will burn your wheels out and have to pit. The driver apparently needs traction control as well, the little ****er can't take a corner without sliding around. If I'm driving around the middle of the bar (Not hot or cold) he won't slide but everyone will pass me!!! He is too slow! I beat it on my first try on A-Spec but this dummy is driving me insane. Any help is appreciated guys! Thanks. :indiff:

It can be done i did it by telling my bob to "Decrease pace" on the last few corner's were he burns his tyres out. I think when i did my bob was about lvl 25

I quit playing B-Spec altogether because of the NASCAR Grand Valley race. B-Spec is boring to begin with, and when you add in a moronic bob it just wasn't even worth it anymore.

It should be pointed out that you don't have to win EVERY race during the Championship. The first objective should be to win the championship, and then go back and get Gold on the events you failed. Indianapolis and High Speed Ring are events that your driver should be more than capable of winning easily, assuming he's a decent level (I would estimate you'd want someone in the mid-20s for it), and Laguna Seca can be...

Oh hello; evidently I only have a Silver on Laguna Seca B-Spec. Time to go fix that.

Regardless, all that's really important besides those two races is having your driver finish well, not necessarily first. You can go back later with a fresh car and try again. The key will be to have your driver keep the pace down when he's not actively trying to make a pass, and to encourage him to make passes in areas where he won't burn out too much. On Grand Valley, that would largely be the Bridge section to the lower-left and most of the route from the final chicane to the second hairpin. Through the infield area, keep his pace down and he shouldn't cause too many problems.

Most of the bspec nascar events need CONSTANT input from you

Grand valley being the most finnicky. As soon as you hit the straight, do pace up 2 times. then when you come down the hill to the first hairpin, pace down, then pace down again on the chicane, then again through the tunnels. Pace up on the bridge, then pace down on the last chicanes before the straight. then pace up on the straight again

If you do this, you will hold maybe 6th place most of the race. But the other AI will roast their tires. and start spinning out. and you will take first place on either the last lap or the 2nd to last lap.

On the 2 oval tracks, the trick is to keep spamming the pace up button. those 2 are easy wins

as I recall the others arent too tough at all

I burned up the tires and got as far as I could ahead, which was like 2nd. I pit with like 3 laps to go, get fresh rubber, and really tore ahead to get the win. You can either go ultra-conservative or ultra-aggressive on this race.

Sean said it best... take it easy on Grand Valley and let the others rip their tires to shreds in the beginning...

My way of winning it was to "Pace Down" through the first 3 laps.... I still had tires left and was trailing in the back and then push him in the last 2.... by the 2nd to last lap they were spinning out and I didnt even have to push Bob hot to win...

Also run Racing Hard tires (they last longer than Softs)

Driver level > 23 + what Sean said.

If you need driver level up add me on PSN & I will run your bobs all day remotely for a couple days; that should level them up sufficiently. Just put "race bobs" in subject of FR & set bobs to online & I will do rest :)

I can do the others, the Grand Valley one I was lucky with that my driver pit on 2nd last lap and I manage to catch up with them, I beat them by 0.005 I saved the replay also :D

The last oval one is so hard, I hate this race so much!!!!!

I will try spammie as much as I can
