B-spec pit stops

In b-spec races in the extreme and endurance series then is tire wear and fuel consumption and on the right side next to the exit button there is a button that says pit strategy and on the top it says pit strength and I don't know what that does.

When your driver hits that strength level he will automatically pit and switch drivers. I normally keep it off, cause if you don't get it right your drivers will start making unnecessary pit stops, even worse pit on the last lap just cause hes to tired:crazy:

I don't think there will be a detrimental effect if you leave it off - especially as if you're leading the race and he has no strength left and is running cool he will make no mistakes regardless of what PD say about it in game.

Strength only makes a difference if your driver is not in front and is in the red part of the temperament gauge, he will then make more errors than normal (lower level drivers make some errors when they're hot anyway), they will spin out a lot. But if they're cool and he's in a car that will win easy and is already in 1st, then the pit strategy will not be important.

Sorry to hijack, but I'm currently doing a 9 hour endurance, and the drivers strength is barely increasing. My current driver has no strength left, mental or physical, yet he isn't pitting. Will he just pit the next time he needs tires/fuel?

I'm hoping thats how it'll work. I'm currently only 2 hours 30 minutes into it, and I'm using the Red Bull X2010 :D Averaging 30ish seconds per lap. Currently on the 233 lap (88 laps ahead of first place) :D

Cheers

Yeah he'll probably put for fuel before he needs tyres, but yes he makes that decision himself.

The Strength bars don't show anything other than going down.

Your driver can still pull quick times even if his bar is nothing.

What I do, al long as you know you're going to win, I turn it off ans the driver will auto-pit when the fuel or tires get to a critically low level.
