Ive not seen this question being asked, but if it has i do appologise.

we all know that when the driver goes to blue we need to up his pace, and when red decrease his pace... but does the driver ever learn to do this himself?

lets sat for example i want to do the 24hrs of lemans, and i wana get a quick nap in, can i trust the b-spec driver to drive whats needed or do i have to stay up babysitting him the whole time?

a quick example, im currently doing a b-spec drive this minute and he is in front with a tuned tuscan (FR Race in beginner) and he is on cool. he is driving slower than 2nd place so 2nd place will eventually catch up, this isnt how a real driver would drive, so i assume its just because im low level (5)

Eventually I'm assuming the tendency to red and blue will be less rapid the further up on levels the driver is.

Then again, my B-Spec driver @ lvl 7 at Eiger decided to send a Lupo flying as opposed to pass it.

If the car behind is catching you need to increase the pace.

but the pace doesnt stay there, it eventually drops back down to cool after 30 secs.

even if i get him 1/2 a lap in the lead, get his meter to centre and then click maintain pace, after about 30 secs it starts dropping to blue.

Set it into red and leave it there, should be ok for awhile.
