What type of factors are a necessity to have a B-Spec driver be able to keep pace and beat the fastest car on a certain event. For example, on the Amateur series Club man, a vehicle has 5.0 weight to horsepower ratio, and hard tires. Generally speaking, you need to match those numbers and tires to have a good chance of beating the vehicle. I know having a better w/p ratio is better, but I prefer to beat things as cheap as possible.

For example, with A-Spec, I choose the bear minimal mods and mostly stock mods to beat the AI with my driving skill. Sadly, this isn't the same with B-Spec and B-Spec is pretty iffy.

With that said, what do you think? Have you beaten top w/p cars with a slower car with say 5.5 w/p ratio (stock suspension, and same tires).

Tires is another thing that kills me. IT costs 6k for hard tires and its like sheesh what a waste.

Im guessing not many of you enjoy or play B-Spec heh.

I will say this. Unless your B spec driver level is really high you will always need a slightly better car than your opposition, and then you need to make sure you are always on the right tires. For example: If the best tires allowed are Sport Soft, be sure to use sport soft.

If you wan't to play B-Spec Properley , you best have a lot of cr to hand .

Because if you decide to use similar cars that are in the Races you enter you'll soon see that the Opposition's Cars are a lot Faster .

Plus theres allways one ringer in there that no ones heard of with some weird extra zzrwwxxllppii crap after its name that means its special and way faster .

If you wan't to Win Put Bob in the fastest thing you have with the Correct Tyres and Set up 👍

I'm a bg b-spec fan. Basically you need a car that is much better then the cpu's. My driver is at level 29 and i still catch him coming in 2nd on some lower (in the teens) races. take which ever car has the most HP on the 'typical opponents' list, dump as much cash as you can into it, and pace up, pace up pace up. The best car i've bought so far, has to be the Peugot race car. it's pretty solid.

I concur with all that's been said!

(I was just thinking that the other day)

You need cash! And lots of it!

If the top car is 500BHP get a 600 even 700BHP car!, in 4 days I got my top BSPEC driver to 16, 2nd to 11, 3rd to 9 and the last one to 8 (he's only had 5 races!)

My strategy is to use the "overtake" command, until he’s in front, (which shouldn't be long if you’re highly overpowered) then let him do his thing and watch the money trickle in :sly:

The best way to level a driver up is put him in the highest race possible, with the fastest car possible, if he’s level 0 in a level 15 race he will be level 2 by the time you finish the race!, next race maybe level 4, easiest way!

Good Luck!

Careful there, could be mistaken on that score...

I'm with you about putting newer drivers into higher level races, a good way to improve them fast - I put a level 1 driver into the Mini Challenge and he levelled up at the end of each race. I wouldn't say that using the fastest car possible will necessarily help though, generally the closer the car and its capacity is to the field average, then the more quickly you'll level up at the end.

Even then I'm not fully certain about this - best see if anyone else has anything to add on that score.

I'm level 36 B-spec with 6 drivers in the 30+ level.. I've grown fond of this aspect of the game.

The best way to level up new drivers is to enter a 3+ person race and use a newbie driver as one of the positions. I can turn a level 0 - 25 in about 5 race. If you really want to make sure you wont lose just have the newbie driver do 2 laps then pit him as he will drain quick.

Always use an over powered car, my guys have over 300+ wins amongst themselves with no losses. Whatever car you use in A spec just set it up a bit better for Bspec.. AND the best thing to do is regear the transmission low so they are in a better powerband!

Having a car that directly competes with the competition has nothing to do with leveling up or gaining experience. Well it might be for experience but really it's too hard to test the theory.

PS - Bspecs love ZR1 RM fully tuned. the 9hr races, 4hr races and the first 24hr race are all a breeze with that chassis.
