B-spec races

Hey there people,

My driver is level 20 atm, but he's having a hard time with a couple of the B-spec races. Most are easy, and if they've got no restriction, I can just use the X2010.
Some cups however, are such a pain. How do I win the Historic Car Cup without using a Chaparral 2J? I've got the 2D and Mark IV, but keep on losing.
Another one is the Gallardo cup, I've got the Lp560-4 fully tuned, but my driver just won't overtake the opponents (even with the Overtake command).

A little help would be appreciated :)
 
A Toyota 7 will win you the event. With a bit of luck. The Toyota 7 could be won by completing the level 21 Like the Wind event.
The Gallardo...I didn't encounter lots of trouble.
 
Alright, working on getting the Toyota 7 as we speak.
Will try the Trofeo Gallardo a couple of times more.
 
Toyota 7 does the trick...eventually. It may take a couple tries on Cote.

My bob did a trick I sometimes do there to win --- get a slight lead entering a corner on the outside, let the 2J settle in the inside line, and BOOM.

Btw, does anyone actually like to drive around the Monaco track? I sure as hell dont :p

No, that race blows. Also, make sure you really turn down the tranny for race 2. There are some good tunes in this forum that I used.
