Hi,

I think this is speculated here already but I couldn't find the right thread.

People has experienced b-spec driver tends to spin or hit the wall at 3/5 of Mulsanne straight.

With my Toyota Minolta I even tried lowering springs and lifting them. Same result.
I even tried Formula Gran Turismo car and same result. I don't want to drive 24h race complete by myself because I have better things to do and don't want to keep ps2 on several days because necessary breaks.

For me car works perfectly well. Here's my setups (which doesn't work for b-spec):
-----------------------------------------------
Tires: fr-hard re-super hard

Brake bias: 20/6

Stage 4 turbokit

Suspension:
spring rate 14/14
ride heigh 80/80
Damber: default 8-8 rebound: 8-8
Camber: 4.0/3.5
Toe angle 0/-3
Stabiliser 6/6

Gear Ratio: Autosetting 21 + longer 1-3 and 6th gear (3.700-2.331-1.713-...-0.790)

Full downforce

LSD:
torgue 30
acceleration 40
deceleration: 40
-----------------------------------------

B-spec has 7000 points, machine skill 83, course skill 70, battle skill 68.

Any working settings or tips for any Race Car which can win Le Sarthe 24h II are welcome, I have few of them in my garage. :)

Much appreciated,

What worked for Le Sarthe 24H I for me was to have super hards all around but only change the fronts every other pit. That way he could attack the corners right out of the pits. Before I started doing this, I was just ahead of the guy in second. After, in the last half hour, I ended up a half lap ahead.

Edit: It should also be noted that I have not yet run Le Sarthe 24H II. That'll be this weekend.

Le Sarthe 1 went very well, but b-spec has problems on straight. He hits wall from speed of 330kph and leans on wall till sleed below 100kph.

I think that's a bug, but is there any solution for that?

It's not a bug, see the noober tuning guide. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=60440

B-spec Bob does not like driving fast when the wheels are bouncing off the ground! To make him happy, I would advise tuning the car with him driving, not you. So, follow the guide, get the springs and ride height set, so you are not bottoming out. Keep checking it, see what bob manages as a top speed down the straight. Once you have got him going as fast as he can down there, set your gear box so the limiter light is just flashing, that way you are not loosing acceleration tht you would normally sacrifice for a high top speed when you drive.

With regards hitting the wall, it happens now and again, but he has just hit a bump wrong, and after all, he is only AI... ( Artifical Idiot )

You need to build a car, that Bob will do 3:14 or better in round sarthe 2. With that kind of time, on setting 3, you will walk it. For some help with the settings...
