B-spec speed

I read that many players used tha b-spec mode to run the endurance races and in 8 hours instead of 24.
Ok that's a good idea.
But ...
Until now the only enduro I've played are the ones in European Events : 1000miles!
I set the b-spec speed at 3x , but each time the car pits in it switches back to 1X taking a lot moooore time !
What am I missing ? Wrong option ? ... ?
 
No, after each pit stop the speed goes back to 1 automatically. That's because you see a live view during a pit stop, allowing you to make changes for tyres etc. So, after each pit stop you have to put the speed back to the 3 manually.:)

then you cannot begin racing a 24 hours race and go to bed , finding it completed ithe next morning ....
 
Nope - you have to leave your PS2 running overnight and while at work too...

I am at work now, and bob is currently doing the nurb 24hr. I started him last night. He should be nearly done by the time I get home. F1 Car!!!
