B-Spec Time Help

I was doing the Nurburgring 24 hour endurance and its annoying how every time I pit the x3 time option switches to live mode. I really dont want to leave the ps2 on for a full 24 hours, theres too much risk of it getting turned off, accidentally hitting reset, etc.. So does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep the race running at x3 speed in a B spec race?
 
just keep checkin up on it i've done this again today also but if you keep an eye on it you wont lose much time
 
Yup! There is no way to keep it at 3x speed all the time. :indiff:
