B-Spec with the F-150

Hi everyone

I've never liked B-Spec but I thought I'd give it another chance. So, I tune my F-150 and my driver and choose to race in the pick-up truck event. I tell my driver "Overtake" when he gets close to another driver but all he does is slow down and stay behind. So, I tell him to "increase speed" and nothing happens. Eventually, I dropped to last and quit :crazy:

How the hell do you make the idiot understand that the idea is to win the race, not ponce about at the back of the grid?

Yh he can be annoying at first if you do find an easy race he can win you will have to keep doing it too level him up also if your bobs temperament is in hot and not cool he is more prone to making errors under pressure god knows why they didn't keep it the same as on GT4 :(

The things is that it's not just as easy as to press overtake and Bob will obey your commands. If it's a close race you need to time it right.

When you're behind another driver for a long period of time, that driver will become more "hot", increasing the pace - making it harder to overtake. If you back off for a while and give the other driver time to cool down, he will slow down - that is when you go for the kill.

And there is no such thing as a "increase speed" command, it is "increase pace". Now, if your driver is skilled, this is usually the same thing as increasing speed, but if your driver is inexperienced, or suffer from fatigue, or having a bad day (if the arrow is pointing down) a higher pace may cause him to do more mistakes (small mistakes such as deviating from the racing line or big mistakes such as spinning or going off track) and actually become slower.
