B6 Mission Gold Video Spec III

There didn't seem to be any videos of B6 Gold in Spec III, so I made one.

I did not change the tune of the Integra since most of those trying to complete this race don't have quicktune yet.

Be sure to turn TCS off in the first screen when you select the race. TCS really kills your corners in this car.

I am having huge difficulties with B6 - Integra type R / High Speed Ring. About 40 attempts and the best I've managed is 4th - usually get about 7th or worse. I've watched this video an youe type R performs better than mine (or the other cars are faster in my event). It takes me until 2nd straight to catch the BMW into 14th place where you are in 7th by that point. Any tips would be appreciated.

Well this may be a bit late, but here's what comes to mind...

You need to shift manually. This can really comes alive when you push it to the rev limit before shifting. So manual shift at 9k.

Turn off TCS on the first screen right when you enter the race. This car HATES TCS. I really can't emphasize this enough.

Power through the corners. This car likes to be hammer-down in the corners. Just don't drive in too hard or you'll wash out.

Draft the Alpha at the start to gain a little more speed. Then draft the BMW.

Be smooth but aggressive. Don't hit the AI cars in the rear. That slows you down.

I managed a 1st befor spec 3 came out. But what was on my mined is!. in spec 3 they lowerd the affect of Drafting the car in front. So did they slow down the A.I cars arfter they did this. Or have they made it alot harder for people who have only just got the game arfter spec 3.

Thanks. No it wasn't too late. I had done all that you suggested though. Still I eventually got to third which was enough to clear the event. A grade at last!
