I have GT6 on a PS3 , it has taken me the best part of a day to update from 1.07 to 1.17 .
I wanted to return to the beginning of the game , Novices , delete all my previous cars , money etc and start from scratch. What do I do to achieve this.
I tried it yesterday but ended up deleting all the updates it had taken so long to load so I had to install back to v1.17 again ( all day ) and I do not want to repeat that.

In XBM go into "Save data utility-PS3" folder and delete GT6 game save and backup save.

Do not delete game /as you already did/ from "Game utility" menu.

That should work :D

Just know that you'll be without seasonal event rewards as well--assuming this is a concern. Out of curiosity, why do you wish to do this?
 
Why not just start another account and do it under a different name? A lot simpler and you get to do all the trophies again from scratch.

I tried that before , but I could not get the " signing in " bonus cr. as my original name was associated with my log in details. I'm a bit of a newbie at all this , have patience.

Starting a new account, also use a new email account as well. It does work and I have gotten Platinum on both my accounts, I too got bored as well and did the whole thing again ;-)

And most people's care factor is....? Also *IF* the VGT cars are that important they are all for sale anyway.

And *IF* they could be given away you could have mine. (x 2 from each account).

I don't know if you can tell from my comments here but I dislike the VGT cars (a lot) ;-)

And, there is the fact that it isn't to hard to earn a million with some of the events, bonuses, b-spec... For the little time I am on, I enjoy the normal cars too.

On topic, starting a second account and game can have a fun twist to it.
